The Scorned Princess’s Silent Vengeance Chapter 08

The Scorned Princess’s Silent Vengeance Chapter 08

“Camila, don’t listen to her!”

Seeing the hesitation on Camila’s face, Ezra hurriedly spoke.

“That old man likes you. Of course he would agree to anything to be with you.”

“Let’s get rid of her quickly.”

Ezra dragged me toward the window. Camila couldn’t help but panic.

“Ezra, what are you doing? Didn’t we agree to get her out of here first?”

Ezra became impatient and snapped.

“The person who was supposed to take her away ran into a problem and couldn’t come.”

“There’s no time. We’ll just push her out of here and make it look like she fell.”

At that moment, Camila seemed to finally realize something. She stood there, refusing to move.

“Ezra, if there’s no one waiting for me… how am I supposed to leave Ravenshire?”

“Once Riley falls, the entire pack will be thrown into chaos. Mom and Dad will definitely lock down all of Ravenshire immediately.”

“Will I still be able to get out?”

She looked at me with the knife pressed against me and finally spoke.

“Or… did you plan from the beginning to make me take the blame?”

“That’s why you did everything possible to make me sneak into Ravenshire?”

A few words were all it took to rattle Ezra.

“Camila, what are you talking about? I treated you like my own sister. I even sold Riley because of you.”

“How could I ever bear to make you take the blame?”

Camila took a step back and shook her head.

“No.”

“You weren’t doing this only for me.”

“I heard Mom and Dad say Riley has incredible talent. They even said she might be more suitable

than you to take over Ravenshire.”

“Getting rid of Riley was also about protecting your position as heir.”

Seeing that Camila had understood everything, Ezra finally tore off his disguise.

“Camila, so what if I did it for the heir position?”

“Didn’t you still get Nightfang Pack’s engagement and shares?”

“Don’t forget, you were involved in selling Riley too.”

“If you don’t want to go to prison, then help me. I promise I’ll make sure you leave safely.”

Watching them argue endlessly, I glanced out the window and spoke.

“You both seem to have missed something.”

“I knew about your plan all along. Did you really think I just happened to walk into this room by

accident?”

Looking at their stunned expressions, I curled my lips.

“Of course not. I came here so both of you could go to prison together.”

At that moment, the door was suddenly kicked open.

A crowd rushed inside. Vincent and Agnes were at the front, and they immediately shouted.

“No!”

But it was already too late.

I turned around and deliberately pushed myself onto the blade, creating the illusion that Ezra had stabbed me. Then, using the force, I fell backward and out of the window.

Under Ezra’s terrified gaze, I crashed heavily onto a haystack that had appeared below at some / point. Then I lost consciousness completely.

When I woke up again, everything had already been settled.

Ezra was convicted of attempted murder while on bail and sentenced to life imprisonment in the pack prison.

Camila, as an accomplice and someone who had participated in selling me before, was sentenced to

twenty years.

At first, they refused to admit their crimes. They insisted they had never touched me and that I had deliberately thrown myself onto the knife before jumping out of the window.

But with so many witnesses watching, no one believed them.

In the end, Agnes completely broke down.

“We already transferred all the shares to Riley. Why would she frame you?”

Only then did Ezra finally understand. Everything I had said when I met him before had been a lie.

From beginning to end, I had never cared about becoming Ravenshire’s heir. I only wanted

complete revenge.

On the day of the verdict, my injuries had mostly healed. Even the nurse couldn’t help sighing that the haystack had saved my life.

Warm sunlight fell over me. I asked the nurse to leave, and an elderly man walked over to my side.

“Princess Riley, you certainly don’t go easy on yourself.”

“I heard Ravenshire completely abandoned them. I assume you’ve already made arrangements for

them even inside prison.”

I toyed with a flower stem and smiled.

“I haven’t congratulated you yet on landing the new project in the South District.”

“I hope you can keep our future cooperation confidential as well. Pleasure doing business with

you.”
