Elias pointed at my uncle. The manager understood immediately and had the guards seize him and drag him out.

My aunts tried to plead with me, but Elias’s icy glare silenced them.

As the guards roughly hauled my uncle out of the hotel, his curses echoed through the hall.

I didn’t look back, but the stinging pain on my cheek was a stark reminder of that slap.

Elias walked over to me, gently touching my cheek, his eyes dark with rage.

“Sera, you rest. I’ll handle the rest.”

He dialed another number. “Get our pack’s legal team on the line. I want them to drop everything and immediately file an assault lawsuit against Nathan Vance. Also, notify all our partners to terminate all business dealings with the Vance family.”

Marcus and Logan finally snapped out of their stupor and rushed over.

Marcus grabbed my arm, his hand trembling. “Lily, he’s your blood uncle!”

I coldly shook him off. “My last name is Thorne. His last name is Vance. How could he possibly be my uncle?”

Logan was sweating, his voice desperate. “Do it for me, sis. Can we just let this go?”

I looked at their frantic faces and suddenly laughed.

“For you? What have you ever done for me? Do you remember the night Bella arrived, when I had a fever so high I was losing consciousness? Where were you? Celebrating Bella’s birthday. I was alone in a hospital bed, with not a single wolf by my side.”

“When I was attacked by rogues and nearly died, you were all at Bella’s mating ceremony. Did you ever once think that I was your sister, too?”
