My Dad Chose My Aunt 10 Times, Unaware I Stripped His Billion Legacy Chapter 07

The blade never touched me.

Nathaniel’s hand closed around it-bare skin against steel.

Then his foot slammed into Fiona’s chest, sending her flying.

His face was thunderous. Fury blazed in his eyes.

“Fiona, you’ve really outdone yourself.”

Fiona scrambled to her feet, face ashen.

“Nathaniel, how did you…”

Nathaniel ignored the blood running down his hand and strode forward.

He grabbed her throat and watched her struggle with icy eyes.

“What? You thought I was supposed to be at the estate-locked up, facing the family charter?”

He didn’t let go until Fiona was turning blue and her eyes started to glaze over.

She collapsed to the ground, coughing violently.

Nathaniel looked down at her.

“I’m not letting you off that easy.”

“Every last thing you put Eliza through-you’re going to pay for it. Piece by piece.”

Tears instantly filled Fiona’s eyes.

She clung desperately to his leg.

“Didn’t you ever feel anything for me?”

“I hurt my own sister-because I loved you!”

She wept-pitiful, despairing.

“Nathaniel, you can’t do this to me! I gave up my only sister for you!”

Catching the flicker of hesitation in his eyes, she scrambled up, seized his hand, and pressed it to

her belly.

“I’m carrying your child. Hate me all you want-but the baby is innocent…”

That was when, with perfect timing, I waved Fiona’s phone in the air.

Somehow, it had ended up in my hands.

“Oh?” I called out, my voice dripping with exaggerated surprise.

“But Aunt Fiona calls other men ‘darling’ too.”

“She even said she’d take good care of the baby-you know, the one she has with that other man.

Fiona went still.

Nathaniel’s hand trembled as he snatched the phone-which I helpfully handed right over.

The moment he read the messages, every trace of hesitation vanished from his eyes.

He looked at Fiona as if she were filth.

But before he could take another step, Fiona went berserk-lunging at him, sending them both crashing to the ground in a savage brawl.

Even after Nathaniel beat her until her face was covered in bruises, Fiona managed to tear a chunk of flesh from his arm with her teeth.

Blood splattered everywhere.

Instead, she laughed-a sharp, unhinged cackle.

“Now you’re blaming me? Weren’t you the fool who fell for it?”

She laughed louder.

“I’m no saint-but are you any better, Nathaniel?”

“Can you honestly say you never had feelings for me?”

“You’re nothing but a two-timing piece of trash!”

“Shut up!” Nathaniel’s face went rigid-she’d hit a nerve, and he knew it.

But Fiona already knew she was doomed.

Instead of stopping, she laughed even harder.

“What did I get wrong?”

“If you’d ever bothered to look, you’d have found the clues.”

“But you didn’t want to. You thought Eliza was too prim. Too dull.”

“So you used me as an excuse-dressed it all up as some grand punishment for her!”

Nathaniel’s face fell. His voice exploded with fury.

“I said shut up!”

While they tore into each other in the courtyard, I stepped back-slowly, quietly.

My gaze swept briefly toward the livestream camera hidden in the shadows.

The corner of my mouth lifted.

Then I turned and walked back inside.

I closed the door firmly behind me-making sure none of their noise reached Mom.
