After Benjamin was hospitalized for his “car accident,” he waited eagerly for Emily to come.

He called her phone, but it went straight to voicemail.

Benjamin started to feel uneasy.

“Go to the Grandview Hotel and tell my fiancée in person that I’ve recovered my memory,” he

ordered his assistant.

The assistant left. Half an hour later, the hospital room door opened.

Benjamin looked up happily, but his face fell when he saw Jessica’s tear-streaked face.

“Ben! I heard you were in a car accident! I was so worried!”

Benjamin’s expression turned dark. “What are you doing here? I told you not to contact me again.”

He pulled his hand back in disgust and glanced nervously toward the door, afraid Emily might walk

Jessica threw herself into his arms, begging pathetically. “Ben, I really love you. Please let me stay by your side. Just come see me whenever you have time, I won’t bother you and Emily…”

“Get off me!” Benjamin frowned. “Jessica, do I have to spell it out? Three months. The game is over. That was the deal. What, did you change your mind?”

“But I love you! I swear I love you more than Emily does. Why can’t you just choose me?”

Benjamin laughed mockingly.

“Jessica, do

He grabbed Jessica by the chin and threw her to the floor, his eyes cold and cruel.

Jessica looked up at him with bitter resentment.

Benjamin had acted too well. He had treated her like a princess for three months, making her believe he truly cared, but to him, it was all just a game.

Suddenly, the hospital room door opened again and the assistant rushed in.

Benjamin saw that he was alone and was about to say something when the assistant interrupted

him.

“Sir! I went to the Grandview Hotel. Ms. Carter never checked in!”

Benjamin’s face changed.

Emily was gone.
