Benjamin’s Perspective.

A week had passed since Emily moved out.

That week, Benjamin let Jessica lure him into bed again and again. They had sex everywhere, and in every position imaginable.

On the seventh morning, Benjamin woke up in the messy sheets.

He glanced coldly at Jessica, who was still cuddled up next to him, then got up and got dressed.

His free pass was over.

Tomorrow, he would go back to Emily.

Just thinking about it made his heart race, and a smile curved his lips.

“Ben, why are you up so early?” Jessica came up behind him and wrapped her arms around him.

Benjamin pushed her away coldly and handed her a bank check. “The three months are up. This is your payment. Don’t come looking for me again.”

Jessica’s smile faltered. “Ben, what are you talking about? What three months?”

“Stop pretending. We had a deal. You keep me company for three months, I pay you, time’s up, and we go our separate ways.”

Benjamin said it casually as he buttoned his shirt and pulled out his phone.

He was going to stage a minor car accident, a little “trigger” to bring back his memories.

He looked around the house and frowned.

In just one week, the clean, simple space was cluttered with Jessica’s expensive things, looking gaudy.

Before, he hadn’t minded, but now that he was bringing Emily back, it was annoying.

“Take all your stuff when you leave. Emily won’t be happy if she sees it.”

Benjamin grabbed his jacket and walked out.

Jessica dug her nails into her palms; her face twisted with jealousy.
