Boyfriend Fakes Amnesia and Betrays Me, I Faked Death and Ran Away Chapter 02

“You’re lying!” I was shaking with rage.

“If I hadn’t fought with everything I had, there’s no way I’d have come out unharmed! If you don’t believe me, we can check the…”

Jessica cut me off.

“Emily, I know it bothers you that Ben won’t touch you. But even so, you shouldn’t let those men touch you just to get his attention. That’s disgusting.”

She looked at me with clear disapproval on her face.

“I didn’t!” My eyes were red as I looked at Benjamin, desperate to explain.

A heavy slap landed on my face.

Benjamin was furious, and I clutched my cheek, unable to believe it.

This was the first time he had ever hit me.

Before, he would worry for hours if I so much as clipped my nails too short.

Now, he hit me because of another woman’s baseless accusation.

[See? The male lead never lost his memory. He’s going crazy because he knows those guys touched her.]

[That little witch says something and he immediately believes her and hits the female lead. What’s the point of staying with a guy like him?]

The comments were still scrolling before my eyes, and seeing Benjamin’s anger, I clenched my fists.

I was about to ask him directly if he really had amnesia. But before I could speak, he grabbed me, dragged me into the bathroom, and shoved me inside.

“Emily! How can you be so cheap?”

“You let those filthy things touch you just to get my attention? Aren’t you afraid of catching something?”

He turned on the shower head, shaking with disgust. “You’re so dirty! Clean yourself up properly!”

The cold water soaked me completely, and a bone-deep chill spread through me.

The anger and jealousy in Benjamin’s eyes didn’t look like a man who had forgotten me.

I gritted my teeth and asked hoarsely, “If you really have amnesia and don’t remember me, then what does it matter to you if I was with those men?”

Benjamin froze, panic flashing across his face for a second before he quickly regained his composure. “It doesn’t matter to me!”

“I just can’t stand a loose woman like you!”

He unconsciously rubbed his fingers together, a nervous habit, as he sneered at me.

Seeing that familiar tell, I felt as if a giant hand were squeezing my heart. The pain made me tremble.

Benjamin really had been lying to me.

I bit my lip, tears streaming down my face.
