Liam realized how his behavior looked.

He let go of me fast and put on a mocking face.

“I thought a shameless woman like you wouldn’t care about that stuff.”

I thought my heart had turned to stone. But his words still hurt.

“Liam, everyone has the right to say that. Except you.”

I couldn’t help myself.

He never loved me. It was always Natalie.

When his family went broke, she dumped him without a second thought. But I gave up my

easy life and chose to stand by him.

Everyone praised me for being loyal. Except him.

He glared at me like I was the worst person in the world.

The moment I stepped onto campus, I fell for Liam.

He wasn’t a good student. His rich family gave him a safety net.

He smoked, drank, did whatever he wanted.

I was the opposite. I followed my parents’ rules. I was always the good girl.
