You Thought You Knew My Love Chapter 15

You Thought You Knew My Love Chapter 15

The plane landed smoothly. Julian looked like he wanted to speak but didn’t dare.

I sighed.

“Say it. What is it this time?”

He had been restless since we boarded the plane.

“Don’t be mad when I tell you, Nora. I…”

“I notified all the New York media.”

“They’re waiting for you in the airport lobby.”

I…

I slapped him.

Annoying.

His face clearly said he had done it on purpose. He looked like he couldn’t wait to announce his ownership of me.

Hopeless.

I said nothing. Julian carefully helped me out of the cabin.

The flashes were blinding.

Countless voices filled my ears.

“Mr. Foster, did you really marry Nora Bloom?”

“Didn’t you say you’d never marry in this lifetime if you couldn’t marry the woman you loved?”

“What about your first love?”

A reporter pushed a microphone in front of me.

“Miss Bloom, you got married right after your divorce. Aren’t you afraid you’ve jumped into another fire pit?”

Fire pit.

Good wording.

“Miss Bloom, does your ex-husband know you got married?”

“Did you marry in a rush just to get back at your ex-husband?”

I took a reporter’s microphone and stared at Julian.

My voice was cold.

“Thank you to this reporter. If you hadn’t mentioned it, I wouldn’t have known he had some first

love.”

Julian’s expression changed.

He snatched the microphone in a panic.

“Everyone, let me formally introduce my first love, the woman I love, my everything, my wife, the mother of my child, Ms. Nora Bloom.”

The reporters’ eyes widened, their faces full of contempt.

“Caught cheating and making up lies on the spot.

“Who is he trying to fool? Does he think the public is stupid?”

Julian had dug his own grave.

He spread his hands helplessly.

“My username is Hopelessly In Love With Her.”

With a boom, the crowd exploded.

Everyone knew the online fame of the account Hopelessly In Love With Her.

A rich second-generation man, suffering from unrequited love for someone else’s wife, had offered a huge reward online asking how to become the other man.

The whole world knew.

I had seen it too.

At the time, Adrian had been wiping my feet.

He hadn’t even raised his head.

“If he wants to be the other man, that’s easy. Make friends with her husband and show up around

him every day. Maybe the husband will get some wandering thoughts, and then he can take the

chance to become the other man.”

He had even added, “There are no wives who can’t be tempted, only side pieces who don’t try hard

enough.”

I used a side account and left that sentence under the post.

I looked at Julian.

“Hmm. You dug this pit for a long time.”

Julian hadn’t originally been in New York. His career was far away in Washington, D.C.

I had met him once at my wedding to Adrian.

After that, I only heard Adrian mention that the runaway heir of the Foster family had returned,

obediently inherited the family business, and often appeared by his side.

So I looked at him.

“The house in that gated community was yours.”

Julian looked smug.

“Hmph. I was the one who suggested he buy that house. Two units per floor. I told him it would help

cover for him, and that idiot actually believed it. But I thought you’d need it.”

“You were that sure?”

I didn’t believe him.

The man smiled, his brows bright and reckless.

“Nora, I understand you better than you understand yourself. As for Adrian Whitmore, I watched him from the side, so I understood him too.”

I held his hand back. It was very warm.

“Nora Bloom.”

I looked up.

Adrian leaned against a pillar, his gaze falling on our joined hands.

After a long time, he smiled.

“I didn’t expect you to use such a low-grade trick to make me jealous.”

“Stop dreaming. Even if you begged me, I wouldn’t look back.”

The reporters got angry.

“Mr. Whitmore, you cheated first. How dare you talk to your ex-wife like that?”

“Shameless man.”

I looked at the man in front of me.

His suit was crisp. Not a hair was out of place. Only his brows were furrowed.

“Adrian Whitmore, I don’t mind if you attend our wedding.”

I said it gently.

Something seemed to shatter.

Adrian took two steps back and held onto the pillar.

He looked at me quietly for a long while.

“Nora Bloom, stop wasting your effort. I have Vivian now.”
