Villainess? No, I’m the Final Boss Chapter 07

Villainess? No, I’m the Final Boss Chapter 07 Waiting for You

Yolanda hunched her shoulders and nodded timidly. “I understand, Mr. White.”

As she was led away, she turned back and shot me a venomous glare. Her lips moved silently.

“B*tch. Just wait.”

I raised my glass toward her from afar as a response.

When Lionel and Charlie called me one after another to ask me out, I already knew Yolanda’s so-called plan was about to begin.

One thought I still had feelings for him, while the other believed he was the heir to a powerful family, destined to inherit everything.

I didn’t hesitate and agreed to meet both of them.

The livestream comments were busy calling me an idiot.

[Wait, wasn’t this villainess supposed to be smart? Why is she agreeing to meet anyone who asks? Lionel and Charlie might as well have “this is a setup” written all over their faces. Can’t she tell?]

[Exactly. Lionel is waiting to lure her to the rooftop just to push her into jumping. Is she really that in love with him? I’m crying my eyes out.]

[Charlie isn’t any better. He’s planning to livestream and expose Naomi’s so-called ugly side to everyone. That’s his own sister. Does he really hate her that much? Or is Yolanda really that irresistible?]

[Ugh, just hearing her name makes me sick. A female lead who’s willing to be someone’s lover for money? Of course she’s irresistible.]

Thanks to the comments, I had originally planned to investigate everything myself, but they had already laid the truth out right in front of me.

I contacted a private investigator to confirm the meeting time between him and Charlie, then immediately reported everything to the police.

After all, what problem can’t the police handle?

At eight that evening, I showed up for Lionel’s invitation and headed toward the rooftop of the tallest commercial building.

Under my coat, I wore a shockproof vest prepared by the police in advance. I also had several listening devices and trackers hidden on me.

Lionel stood at the edge of the rooftop, the wind messing up the hair he had carefully styled with gel.

When he saw me arrive, he didn’t even bother fixing it. He turned slightly and looked at me with a heavy expression. “Naomi, we’ve finally come to this point.

“If I told you that I’ve had feelings for you this whole time, would you believe me?”

Before I could answer, the floating comments above his head drifted by first.

[I don’t believe a word you say. You’re just a greasy, manipulative guy with too many tricks.]

I almost laughed, but I held it back and shook my head. “No.”

Then I glanced down at my watch again. “If you’ve got something to say, make it quick. I’m not like you. some idle small-time manager. I handle deals worth millions every minute.”

Lionel’s expression twisted for a brief moment.

He cast a subtle glance toward the phone hidden in the corner of the rooftop. He had planned to signal Charlie, who was secretly livestreaming there, to come over and coordinate with him.

But Charlie didn’t even blink. He was staring fixedly at an email he had just received on his phone.

The screen was filled with photos of Yolanda using her body to please Victor. There were also pictures of her with Lionel.

The only thing missing was a photo of her with him.

Charlie still remembered how miserably Yolanda had cried when she came to him.

“Charlie, you’re the only one I can trust now. Victor is using my debts to force me to stay with him. These past days have been a nightmare. He doesn’t treat me like a human being. No matter how many times I try to run, he drags me back, and what waits for me are those horrible punishments.”

Yolanda’s eyes were red, and her whole body trembled. She carefully leaned into his arms. “If it weren’t for Naomi, how would I have ended up like this? Charlie, you’ll help me, right? You will help me, won’t you? You’re the only one I have left…”

Charlie’s voice turned hoarse. “Then what about Lionel? What does he mean to you?”

Yolanda seemed startled by the question, and a flash of embarrassment crossed her face. She looked at Charlie and said, “Charlie, is that really what you think of me? You know how I feel about you… I really only ever saw Lionel as a brother.”

Who knew how many people Yolanda had fooled with the same lines? Maybe in front of Lionel, she would turn around and tell him she only saw him as a brother, too.

Charlie felt a chill run through his entire body.

What could be more devastating than realizing the person you loved had been playing you like a fool?

The moment I saw Charlie step out of the shadows, no longer paying attention to the livestream on his phone, I knew the information I had asked the private investigator to gather had finally paid off.

“Did you sleep with Yolanda, Lionel?”

Charlie’s question was blunt.

Lionel’s expression shifted immediately, turning strange as he kept glancing toward the livestream. He lowered his voice. “What’s wrong with you? Have you lost your mind? Didn’t we agree to work together to take Naomi down?”
