They Shaved My Head on My Wedding Night, and My Donna Mother-in-Law Went on a Rampage Chapter 05

The slap cracked through the suite.

The blow sent Ginevra sprawling over the arm of the sofa, and her phone flew from her hand onto

the carpet.

She screamed.

“Aunt Serafina! You hit me?”

Serafina didn’t let her say another word. She snatched a glass from the table and hurled it at her.

“You’re damn right I did.”

Ginevra threw her arms over her head and scrambled around the sofa while Serafina stalked after

her.

“You cut my daughter-in-law’s hair while she was asleep? You filmed her? You encouraged people to touch her head? If your parents never taught you how to behave, I will!”

The bridesmaids shrieked and retreated into the corner.

Beatrice, however, was still holding up her phone, determined to keep recording. One look from Serafina sent a Vitale soldier over to take it from her.

Beatrice immediately protested.

“What gives you the right to take my phone?”

Serafina pointed at her.

“You recorded my daughter-in-law. Alessia is the future Donna of the Vitale family.”

“Anyone who recorded her without permission, shared the footage, or used it to humiliate her will

answer for it.”

The color drained from Beatrice’s face.

Matteo finally recovered and stepped forward to intervene.

“Mom, you need to calm down…”

Serafina turned and slapped him too.

It wasn’t as hard as the one she’d given Ginevra, but it still snapped Matteo’s head to the side.

The suite fell dead silent.

Matteo froze as Serafina pointed at me. Her voice trembled, but every word landed hard.

“Your wife had her head shaved.”

“And you stood here telling her not to make a scene?”

“Matteo, did I raise you to cover for someone else’s cruelty?”

His eyes reddened instantly.

“Mom, I…”

“Shut up.”

Serafina cut him off coldly.

“You don’t get to feel sorry for yourself right now.”

She turned to her husband. Don Ettore had already ordered the Vitale soldiers to guard the door.

The hotel’s general manager stood nearby, repeatedly mopping the sweat from his forehead.

“Don, Donna, the hotel will cooperate in any way we can…”

The hotel belonged to the Vitale family, and management would be held responsible for letting the wedding descend into chaos.

Serafina laughed once, and the sound was more frightening than any curse.

“Cooperate?”

“Your wedding director trapped the victim in this suite, pressured her not to call the police, and planned to cover the damage with a wig.”

“You call that cooperation?”

Ivy’s face went white.

Serafina stared at her.

“She’s our daughter-in-law. If none of you will protect her, I will.”

I stared at Serafina in stunned silence.

Those few words did more for me than any reassurance could have.

Ginevra clutched her swollen cheek and sobbed.

“Aunt Serafina, this is too much! Matteo and I grew up together. You used to care about me too. It

was just a joke, and you hit me because of her?”

Serafina advanced slowly. Ginevra immediately backed away.

“Don’t come any closer!”

Serafina stopped in front of her.

“I used to care about you because I thought you were just spoiled. Now I see you’re rotten.”

Ginevra clenched her jaw.

“All she lost was some hair!”

The fury in Serafina’s eyes slowly hardened into something colder.

“Fine. If you think it’s nothing…”

She turned to the Vitale soldiers.

“Call the police.”

Serafina had almost single-handedly legitimized the family’s business empire and cultivated strong political ties.

She had no intention of settling this with bloodshed or the family’s old methods.

She would let the law deliver justice.

She looked at the hotel’s general manager.

“Secure the hallway surveillance footage, the suite’s key-card logs, and tonight’s staff access

records. Now.”

Ivy panicked.

“Donna, do we really need to involve the police? The wedding is tomorrow…”

Serafina turned on her.

“The wedding? My daughter-in-law had her head shaved, and you’re still worried about keeping

e wedding on schedule?”

She pointed at the hair scattered across the floor.

“Collect every strand. The sheets, pillowcases, clippers, cream, and phones are evidence. No one touches anything.”

Everyone froze.
