The men outside had been waiting too long. They were starting to realize something was wrong.

I heard Brennan rush in. He grabbed one of the men and demanded, “Where are Seraphina and Helena? Why are

there men here?”

One of the more timid servants confessed everything.

He said Seraphina had been fooling around with these men

for four years. The video from four years ago had been a

fake. I was the one who had been truly humiliated.

This so-called retreat was a cage she had built just for me.

Chaos erupted outside.

I heard men roaring in despair, the sounds of fighting, and the shouts of the burly men as they fled.
