Eden’s face went from white to red in seconds,

“Mrs. Sterling, you’ve misunderstood.”

“Once we’re together, you’ll still have to listen to me.”

I looked down at her.

She turned back to the audience, tears flowing beautifully,

“If Zoe can’t forgive me, I’m willing to step down as host and accept any punishment.”

The crowd softened.
