The Black Wolf’s Forced Luna Chapter 08By Novel7s / May 20, 2026 The Black Wolf’s Forced Luna Chapter 08After what happened in the study, Shadow Castle felt like a prison. Not because Damon trapped me there. But because no one would let me leave. Guards stuck to me everywhere in the hallways, never leaving my side. The servants wouldn’t even talk near me, deliberately avoiding it. Every time Damon walked into a room, every wolf in the castle would tense up instantly, nervous and uneasy. The wolf inside him was getting restless and unstable again. Because of me. And the terrifying part – he was losing control. All because of me. The Moon Goddess’s voice appeared in my head. [Alpha Interest Level: 73%] Seventy–three percent. Every time that number went up, Damon’s possessiveness grew stronger. And the dangerous aura around him became even more intimidating. I started wondering – what was the point of all this? What was the Moon Goddess’s judgment even for? I stood alone on the balcony outside my room, staring at the snow–covered forest below. Then that distant voice spoke in my heart again. [The final judgment phase is about to begin.] Bone–chilling cold shot through my entire body in an instant. “What happens in the final phase?” I whispered. Silence for a few seconds. No answer. Then silver symbols slowly formed in front of my eyes. [If the bond breaks, the Black Wolf will fall.] My breath stopped abruptly. Fall? No. I understood what that meant in an instant. He would lose control completely. And there would be no coming back. A low, calm voice broke the silence behind me. “You finally figured it out.” I spun around suddenly. Selene stood in the doorway. This time, there was no hostility in her eyes. Just exhaustion. “The Council is moving tonight,” she said quietly. My heart sank. “What?” “They believe that if they kill you, Damon will lose control. And to them, that’s one less uncontrollable factor to worry about.” Selene’s silver eyes went dark. “Killing you would just destroy him. Even after he moved every wolf in Shadow Pack to this frozen wasteland, the Elder Council still won’t leave him alone.” The room went dead silent. And then- The castle’s alarm howled through the halls suddenly, shaking the sky, vicious and shrill, thick with danger. Selene swore under her breath. “They’re already here.” Shouts erupted downstairs. Wolf howls echoed from deep in the castle. The Council had launched their attack. My first thought wasn’t to take shelter. It was to ask. “Where’s Damon?” I asked. “He’s still in the Great Hall right now.” Selene immediately grabbed my wrist. “We need to go. Now.” Chaos swallowed the entire castle. We ran wildly through the halls. Warriors were fighting. Servants were screaming. Shadow Castle had already fallen into war and chaos. Then- A deafening beastly roar shook the entire walls, making them tremble. It wasn’t human. It was a wolf’s howl. Everyone in the hallway froze instantly, standing stiff and motionless. Extreme fear flooded the castle like a tidal wave, drowning everything. Selene’s face went deathly pale in an instant. “No…” My heart nearly stopped. “What’s happening?” But deep down I already knew. The howl came again. Louder. More desperate. The Moon Goddess’s voice echoed in my head. [Warning. The Black Wolf has completely lost control!!] Bone–deep panic exploded in my heart. “No… please, no.” For the first time, I found myself praying from the bottom of my heart. Praying that nothing would happen to Damon. Selene tightened her grip on my arm firmly. “Come with me. We have to get to him. He needs you!” Another massive crash came from downstairs. Stone walls crumbled. Screams erupted everywhere. Then- The whole castle suddenly fell into dead silence. Not a normal silence. The kind of deathly, suffocating silence that comes before a storm. The Moon Goddess spoke again. This time, there seemed to be a hint of urgency in her voice. [Emergency order. Go to the Black Wolf immediately.] A sharp, suffocating pain twisted in my chest. If I didn’t go … Damon would completely lose his mind. A massacre was about to happen. Fear soaked through every part of my body, down to my bones. For the first time since I’d come to Shadow Castle, I was no longer afraid of Damon. I was afraid of losing the one person who pretended to be strong.
