The Alpha Aunt They Framed Chapter 08

The Alpha Aunt They Framed Chapter 08

MAREN’S POV

The next day. After breakfast, Elara stood up and bowed slightly.

“Aunt Maren, I’ve been the one washing the dishes for the past half semester. But as you can see, my grades have dropped. Unlike Brielle, I don’t have private tutoring, so I want to spend more time studying. I won’t be doing housework anymore.”

I narrowed my eyes.

“That’s great, Elara. I actually told you before that you didn’t need to do housework. You insisted on doing it anyway. I’m glad you’ve finally decided to stop and focus more on your studies.” /

After both girls left for school, I took out my phone and started looking through the PackFeed

account I had accidentally discovered a few days ago.

In my memories from my first life, Elara eventually became a content creator after gaining attention online. But that only happened after the graduation exam because of the journal she

posted.

Yet in this life, while scrolling through the same pack feed, I came across an account documenting

[Because I’m an Omega, My Alpha Aunt Made Me Serve Her Daughter.]

At first, I wasn’t sure if it was her. But after reading a few posts, I knew. It was definitely Elara.

For example, her post about the first day of school.

[Brielle and I started school on the same day. Aunt Maren only remembered to pay Brielle’s tuition

but didn’t pay mine. It wasn’t until the teacher called her to the office that she reluctantly paid my

tuition.]

The comments were full of people attacking me.

But there were also one or two people who asked, [Did your aunt not pay because your parents never gave her the money? Or did they give it to her and she still refused to pay?]

Elara only replied vaguely, (I saw my dad transfer money to her the day before.]

I could only scoff.

[Day seven of School: Aunt Maren buys Brielle Levain cookies and iced vanilla lattes every day. I

wish I wasn’t staying at Aunt Maren’s house. Then maybe I could eat cookies my own mom bought too. Honestly, Aunt Maren doesn’t have to secretly put them in Brielle’s room. She could just eat them openly. I wouldn’t think anything of it.]

The comments were once again filled with criticism.

[Being someone’s aunt doesn’t mean you can’t even give the kid something to eat.]

[Seriously? Is she treating them differently over snacks too? Didn’t she say before that she received living expenses? Please return the money to Brielle and let her live on her own.]

[Are you kidding me? With this kind of attitude, I hope your own child gets treated the same way

someday.]

But there were still a few voices that sounded different.

[Wait, why can’t someone spend their own money on their own child? If you’re so upset, then go back to your own family. Why stay somewhere just to complain? And saying you “wouldn’t think anything of it”? Then why post this? Isn’t the whole point to get people online to attack your aunt?]

[Exactly. Supporting the comment above. Being relatives these days is hard. If you paid enough to cover your expenses, I believe most relatives wouldn’t treat you badly over money. But if you didn’t pay enough, do you expect someone else to keep supporting you? And besides, did you pay rent or anything besides living expenses while staying in someone else’s home? Don’t tell me you’re just

living there for free and complaining.]

I silently liked those two comments and continued scrolling.

[Day thirty of school: I’m so jealous of Brielle. She doesn’t have to do housework, and she even gets

private tutoring.]

I didn’t even bother opening the comments anymore.

But one highly liked comment caught my attention.

[Elara, I’ve been following your posts for a while. Your Aunt Maren is clearly mistreating you. You need to stand up for yourself. Start by refusing to do housework. Better yet, tell your parents you don’t want to stay with her anymore. Given your situation, living on campus with your own living expenses would be better for you.]

Another person added, [Exactly. I support this Omega girl standing up for herself. If that Maren

woman keeps forcing you to do things, expose her personal information and address. We’ll help

you get justice.]

My brows furrowed. After all, I was killed by these very same strangers online in my first life.

Looks like I needed to keep a close eye on things from now on.

If she really exposed my private information again…Then she couldn’t blame me for what happened

next.
