Two hours later, Axel Jennings arrived. I yanked at the IV line in my arm, the sting barely registering.

“Miss Crest.”

“Take me to our hotel.”

My lower body hurt with each movement, but it was insignificant compared to the hole opened in my heart.

Five cars waited for me in a line, and seeing them reminded me exactly who I was.

“Damn right, I am Harper Crest.” My confidence surged.

Axel opened the third for me, and got in beside me.

“Tell Crest TV to create a new reality television show. You will draft out five contracts and send out the invitations today.”

“Miss Crest, what has creating a new TV show got to do with making Theo pay for hurting you? It would only make him more famous.”

“Tch.” I smirked. “Will it?”

Terminating Theo’s contract with Crest Agency is not enough. The world has to see the rot that makes up the ‘Almighty Theo Crane.’

I stayed in a hotel suite for two weeks, healing while the plans moved forward. On Saturday, I returned to

the house.

Loud moans of passion echoed from our bedroom the moment I stepped inside. I didn’t barge in but sat in the dining room and waited.

Three hours later, the door opened. Theo and Gemma emerged fully dressed, dragging a large box. The dress Gemma had on was my favorite island blue summer dress.

“Harper…” She stuttered and froze.

Theo’s eyes narrowed on me, his expression turning contemptuous. Seeing that, Genama slowly locked arms with Theo, gaining courage.

“Oh Harper, you are back,” Gemma forced a sweet smile. “How long have you been sitting here?”

“Long enough to hear you two moaning like animals.”

“Animals… w-what?” Gemma placed a dramatic hand on her chest. “We were rehearsing and you are mocking my talent??”

Theo’s eyes were still narrowed on me. Gemma saw this and began to grumble by his side. “Theo…. she called me an animal!”

Theo took a step closer.

“What the hell are you doing here?” His voice was deathly quiet. “I told you I wasn’t coming home for two weeks until you apologized to Gemma.

Just because I’m here now doesn’t mean I’ve forgiven you. You were supposed to stay with my sick mother. Did you abandon her? Is this how you show remorse?”

I took a step forward too. “What were you doing in my bedroom with Gemma for three hours?

Gemma chuckled.

“What are you insinuating? Intense physical chemistry is part of the job. You wouldn’t understand-”

“Shut your mouth when I’m talking to Theo!’

“Watch your tongue,” Theo’s eyes flared. “You can come here uninvited, show no remorse, insinuate things, but you will not raise your voice at my precious Gem.

Gemma has sacrificed everything for my career. You’ve done nothing but drag me down with your jealousy and complaints. You can never measure up to her. Never.”

“Why should I measure up to a home-wrecker who spreads her legs in another woman’s bed? You two are pathetic.

You’re inside her for hours in the bed we shared, and you walk out acting like I’m the problem? Gemma, you wear my dress and smile like you own the place. How desperate are you?”

Gemma’s smile faltered, but she squeezed Theo’s arm.

“Says the woman who sat at home getting fat while Theo worked.” She was breathing heavily. My words really struck a chord.

“Haha, I see you are finally dropping the facade.”

“Call it whatever you want. I supported Theo and boosted his career. You just drained him mentally for months. Poor Theo had to deal with your mood swings and insecurity every day. At least I know how to please him.”

“Exactly. Gemma understands what a man needs. You? You’re just bitter and clingy.”

“Of course she is. That’s why she kept throwing herself at you three years ago with her nonsense pastries.”

Gemma’s words stopped me cold. I clenched my fists. Theo told Gemma about our first few days together?

“Listen woman, Gemma and I will be filming a reality TV show for the next five weeks. If you still want to have a place in this house, if you still respect our marriage and want me to forgive you, you better pack your things and go to my mother’s house. I’ll pick you up when I see you’ve shown remorse.”

“Come on Theo, you are being too easy on her…” Gemma cajoled, rubbing Theo’s arm with her free hand.

“What do you say I do, babygirl?”

“Well… she ruined our show, right? And we had to do serious damage control. Then she disrespected your orders and said I moaned like an animal…”

“Please don’t take anything she said to heart,” Theo’s hand was cradling her face. His ‘babygirl’ looked like she wanted to cry.

“I’m trying not to, but… but…” her words broke into sobs that really hurt my ears.

Theo’s eyes shot daggers at me.

“Get out of here!” He yelled. “You are just jealous that Gemma moans beautifully when I am with her, compared to your shrieks like a pig!”

The entire display was all too hilarious. A laugh stirred low in my belly, and I began to laugh. They looked at me confused, but it only made me laugh even more.

“Omg, I can’t with you two…” I laughed till tears dropped from my eyes.

“Babe, let’s get out of here before she infects us with whatever disease she has carried!”

“Not before I kick her out!”

Suddenly, he grabbed my arm and began dragging me to the door.

“Let’s see how long you can keep up with the disrespect when I take away everything I’ve been providing you with!” He pushed me to the floor.”

“Text me when you get to my mother’s, and then I’ll send you some money to buy new clothes.”

Gemma dragged their suitcase behind, then she locked the front door and threw the key to Theo.

“Buh-byeee,” she mock-waved.

Theo opened the car door for her. He gave me one last look, then entered the driver’s seat.

I looked them both dead in the eyes.

“Enjoy your little fantasy while it lasts. You’re going to lose everything you think you built. And Gemma? Keep wearing my clothes. They won’t save you when this all comes crashing down.”

She gave me the middle finger, and Theo drove off.

I got up from the floor and rubbed my belly.

“Baby… he didn’t even notice you were gone…”

I picked up my phone and placed a call.

“You guys can come now.”

A minute later, three moving trucks showed up and nine men got out.

“You know what to do, right?”
