Charles was so sure that Chancellor Wallace-their only witness-wouldn’t get involved that he spoke with full confidence.

But the moment the words left his mouth, his smile froze right on his face.

Chancellor Wallace walked in with his hands behind his back. His expression was cold as ice.

Charles and his parents, who had just rushed in, all looked at each other.

Chancellor Wallace stepped closer, pulled out a marriage agreement, and held it up to Charles’s face.
