Reborn as Mogul Sons’ Foster Mom Chapter 01

Reborn as Mogul Sons’ Foster Mom Chapter 1 Reborn
After my sister passed away, she left behind five adopted children—quintuplets.
My best friend and my boyfriend both insisted I send them back to the orphanage. Yet, this time, I flat-out refused.
In my previous life, I listened to their words. I gave up on the kids, thinking it was for the best.
I had no idea they would then secretly adopt them behind my back.
Turns out, those quintuplets were actually the biological children of the richest man in Avendale.
After coming back to their real family and learning the truth, they hated me to the core. They shipped me off to Mallora, where I was treated like a livestock.
Meanwhile, my so-called best friend and boyfriend received a “thank-you gift” of 100 million dollars from the kids’ birth father.
The quintuplets even acknowledged them as their godparents.
And me? I was beaten to death by the employer they sold me to while they were broadcasting their grand, fairytale wedding, planed by the quintuplets, across every major network.
But when I opened my eyes again, I was back. Back on the exact day I was supposed to send the kids away.
“Lani, come on, the car’s waiting,” my boyfriend Nathan Hill called from the living room.
My best friend, Brittany Mayer, was in the bedroom, rushing to pack the kids’ things.
However, I just stood there, frozen.
Reborn?
And on this day of all days?
I looked at the five little ones standing beside me—their identical little faces full of confusion, sadness, and silent pleading.
Then, without hesitation, I said, “Stop packing. We’re not going to the orphanage.”
Brittany paused, stunned. “Lani, what are you talking about?”
I ignored her and gently wiped the tears off the kids’ cheeks one by one.
Brittany frowned. “Wait, don’t tell me you’re getting soft?”
“They’re not even your sister’s biological kids—you’re not obligated to raise them.”
Nathan walked over, arms crossed.
He looked at the quintuplets, then back at me with a fake smile. “Lani, I know you’re kind. How about we just leave some money for the orphanage instead?”
“No,” I said firmly, pulling the five little ones close. “I’m not sending them away again.”
“My sister adopted them, so they’re my family now.
“I’ll raise them myself. That’s the only way I can live with myself, and honor her memory.”
Nathan’s expression instantly soured.
“Leilani Arnault, are you insane?” he snapped.
“My mom already doesn’t like you. And now you’re keeping these five little burdens? You still expect me to marry you like this?”
Hearing that, my face went cold.
I had been an orphan my whole life, so I always treated Nathan’s mom like my own, showing her the utmost respect.
Yet, in return, all she ever did was look down on me—said I was too skinny to have children, constantly nitpicking everything I did.
Worse yet, she fully supported Brittany and Nathan behind my back.
Because of her, I never even realized that my boyfriend and best friend had been together all along.
And the most horrifying part? In my previous life, it was her idea to convince the quintuplets to send me off to Mallora.
I was butchered—hands and feet chopped off, and treated worse than a livestock.
Meanwhile, she enjoyed luxury and praise as the children’s god-grandmother.
But this time …
I looked directly at Nathan, my voice cold and unwavering. “No matter what, I won’t give up these five kids. If you can’t accept that, then we’re done.”
Nathan stared at me in shock, eyes wide in disbelief.
“Leilani, how can you just throw out the word ‘break up’ like that?!”
He was furious—face red, chest heaving with rage.
The quintuplets instinctively clung to me, clearly afraid of him.
Seeing the tension, Brittany quickly stepped in, trying to smooth things over. “Lani, Nathan’s just thinking of your future—he only wants what’s best for you.”
I cut her off coldly. “Save it. I’ve already made up my mind.”
“These children are my responsibility now. I’ll raise them like they’re my own.”
At that, the little ones in my arms instantly got teary-eyed. Their round eyes shimmered with emotion.
I gave them a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry, even if Brittany and Nathan wanted to send you away, Auntie would never let that happen.”
The quintuplets glared at the two of them with pouty faces. “Meanies!” they shouted in unison.
Their little voices echoed through the room, and Brittany’s face stiffened awkwardly. “I didn’t! I wasn’t trying to send you away!” she stammered, flustered.
However, the kids were not buying it. They turned their backs on her and buried their faces in my chest.
Brittany’s smile faltered, but she quickly tried to regain her composure.
After a few moments of awkward silence, she said, “Lani, I respect your decision.
“But it’s going to be so hard for you to raise five kids on your own. How about I adopt three of them? Don’t worry, I’ll love them like they were my own.”
