Publicly Rejecting My Three Alphas to Choose the Real Alpha King Chapter 02

Publicly Rejecting My Three Alphas to Choose the Real Alpha King Chapter 02 Chaos and Hunt
Kael’s POV

The silence in the pack hall lasted ten full seconds. In those ten seconds, disbelief gave way to a rage that burned through my blood.

I am Kael Thorne, the Alpha King of the werewolf pack. I was born on top of the food chain of power.

And Lyra, the lowly Omega we had kept and tamed for three long years, had just ripped my dignity to shreds in front of the entire pack.

She defied us publicly all for an unnamed rogue.. She had the nerve to defy us in front of everyone, tearing apart our three-year bond and shattering our dignity into pieces.

My wolf thrashed frantically inside me, and my blood roiled violently in my veins. This was the backlash of a broken mate bond, the agony of being cast aside on a soul-deep level.

For three years, her blood had been tied to our power. Her rebellion wasn’t just betrayal. It was a strike against everything we controlled.

My fingers curled into fists, my knuckles turning pale with rage. Every noble in the room kept their head down, too afraid to meet my eyes.

“Insolent fool.”

I had never been so humiliated.

Beside me, Evan’s polished facade crumbled to pieces. He was always more restrained than me, but I could feel his wolf thrashing wildly inside him. Beneath his calm surface was a cold, calculated fury.

Reese said nothing at all. But his dark eyes stayed locked on the doorway, his obsessive possessiveness almost visible in the air. Lyra was his deepest obsession, and this break had set fire to the sickness inside him.

“Does she really think running away sets her free?” Evan’s voice was cold and sharp. ” That three-year bond is etched deep in her. Tearing it apart will drain her life force completely. She won’t last long, and we won’t even have to lift a finger.”

I laughed coldly, forcing down my own rage, my gaze hardening with certainty. “She’s naive. Without us to balance and protect her, an unawakened Omega is easy pickings. And that rogue who dared to steal what belongs to us will face certain death.”

I still dismissed her rebellion as nothing more than a willful outburst after years of docility.

I was sure she would regret this.

When the bond’s backlash left her in agony, when that nameless man showed his true weak nature, she would come crawling back, begging for forgiveness.

Her blood belonged with ours. She was ours, always. There was nowhere to run.

Reese’s voice came out rough and low. ” Lock down every route. Secure the woods, towns and borders across the territory. Track her down and bring her home.”

At his order, the elite warriors concealed within the Wolf Keep mobilized immediately. Countless trackers fanned out across the woodlands in an instant, forming an inescapable dragnet.

I stared at the empty doorway. Beneath my rage, there was something else—a flicker of unease I refused to name.

For three years, I had been used to her quiet submission.

But today, I realized… I had never truly known her.

I had never seen the iron will hidden under her meek exterior.

She had departed without hesitation or the slightest trace of longing.

The night wind rushed into the hall, chasing away the warmth and leaving only bitter cold.

I pushed down every strange feeling rising inside me. My eyes hardened into cold certainty.

It didn’t matter how far she ran. I would bring her back.

And when she returns, I will make her understand: defying us means eternal confinement with no hope of escape.
