One Hundred Rules to Tame My Impossible Billionaire Boss Chapter 06

Blair couldn’t watch anymore. She forced a smile, grabbed her new freshman boyfriend’s arm, and said, “Let’s go.”

Miles scratched his nose, confused why she’d glared at him before leaving.

He felt a little embarrassed about the phone check.

But then again, better than being ignored like before.

He composed himself. “Done? I’m good, right?”

I nodded, then said sweetly, “I just deleted every girl our age from your contacts. You don’t mind, do you, baby?”

“What!”

His voice jumped. Panic flashed across his face.

“You—”

He almost asked how she’d deleted Blair too—he was actually a year younger than Blair—but then Rule One hit him.

Don’t mention other girls in front of her.

He shut his mouth, looking pained.

“I don’t mind.”

He’d worked too hard to get her. No way he’d blow it.

I didn’t call him on it. Just pointed at his car.

“Let’s go to the restaurant you picked.”

He blinked. “You said you didn’t like it.”

I tilted my head. “If I don’t go, you’ll feel bad. You picked it so carefully.”

His hand paused on the car door.

He bit his lip.

As we drove slow, after a quiet moment, he suddenly said, “Iris, what kind of food do you like? Next time I’ll take you there.”

Bullet comments chattered, [He’s so easy. She says one nice thing and he’s grinning. What’s he so happy about?]

[Too bad his boys don’t believe he’s over Blair. They’re pushing him to bring the side character out. Feel bad for her.]

[Yeah, no matter how sweet he’s acting now, next week he’s gonna take her to a party and play Truth or Dare. He’ll get ‘kiss someone of the opposite sex for one minute’ and go straight for Blair. The side character’s gonna get crushed.]

My smile faded.

Boyfriend trial card only lasts a week?

That’s fine.

I won’t be the one losing.

I slowly listed dozens of dishes.

Then said softly, “What a problem. I want to try Italian, French, Mexican, Japanese… all of it. Can you bring me something different every day?”

“If my boyfriend actually cooked it himself, I’d be even more…”

He cut me off fast. “I can do that! I’ll hire chefs to make it. They cook better than me.”

I pretended to be disappointed. “Okay.”
