Oh No, My Mafia Husband Is About to Lose Control Chapter 09

The next day.

A knock at the bedroom door.

I opened it. A man in a plumber’s uniform was standing there.

His sleeves were rolled up, showing off the clean cut of muscle in his forearm.

The picture-perfect rough-and-rugged hero.

He was wearing a mask. His voice was low. “Ma’am. The pipe’s fixed.”

I was in a plain white slip.

A faint trace of jasmine clung to the air, putting an unmistakable charge in it.

I leaned against the doorframe and gave him a soft smile. “Thank you. My husband is out on family

business. The pipe started leaking out of nowhere-I really had no idea what to do.”

The man’s face darkened. Expressionless, he said, “Of course. I’ll be going.”

The moment he turned, I hooked a finger into his collar.

Slid it slowly down his chest.

His breath caught.

I blinked up at him. Voice deliberately soft, deliberately leading. “It’s so hot today. Why don’t you stay for

tea before you go?”

I leaned in, on purpose. “It’s my husband’s favorite blend.”

Leon’s eyes went black.

He stepped inside and locked the door behind him.

A few lines in, and he already couldn’t take it.

He looked down at me. Every word came through clenched teeth. “Do we have to do this scenario?”

He’d refused, point blank, every time before.

Now that I finally had the chance, no way was I letting him out of it.

Leon had nothing on me.

He gritted his teeth and forced out the line.

He bent his head close. His voice was dangerously low. “Who’s better-me, or your husband?”

I looped my arms around his neck and grinned. “My husband, obviously. He’s gorgeous, he’s rich, and he treats me like a queen.”

The corner of Leon’s mouth twitched up before he could stop it.

He turned his face away and gave a low huff.

Pretending to be put out. “Then why are you here with me?”

I touched his sweat-damp face. My expression went tragic.

I sighed. “Idiot. Did you forget again?”

Leon went still.

I looked up

at him and said it slowly, one word at a time. “You are my husband.”

Leon was speechless.

So it was a memory-loss romance scenario, apparently.

How was he supposed to keep up with this woman’s brain every day?

He had no choice but to give her everything he had.
