My Yandere Online Boyfriend Slept Next Door Chapter 11

My Yandere Online Boyfriend Slept Next Door Chapter 11

Three days later, Mr. Ashford fired me on some fabricated pretext.

I’d never made a mistake at work.

My performance was solid.

But crossing the branch manager’s daughter had its consequences.

I’d planned to return Serena’s money.

Now? I decided to keep it.

I was jobless, stuck at home, thinking about what came next.

Play it safe-find another bank, be a quiet little employee?

Or go all in, study hard, and aim higher?

I chose the latter.

I went over everything I’d learned, dug into financial materials on my own.

In three months, the program would hold a final exam.

The top three would be invited to an international finance gala-

industry titans, top investors, real power players.

A chance to see the world I wanted to be part of.

I set my goal: top three.

I moved back into the apartment. Knox had moved to his house.

I unblocked him.

In the bathroom, I noticed more bottles of body wash than before.

More than one person could use.

I figured I’d help him out before they expired.

After my shower, I slipped into bed.

The sheets carried a faint trace of Knox.

Knox slept in Chloe’s bed once.

His own sheets got dirty-had to wash them, so he crashed here.

Classic yandere move.

He’d been in my bed?

When?

Something about it made my skin prickle.

Just knowing he’d been here-lying where I lay-made my pulse trip.

Heat crept through me.

Under the covers, it almost felt like being held.

I tried to shake it off.

She’s into it.

She likes the thrill.

Most people would be freaked out. She’s not.

I thought about the night Serena met Knox.

The marks on her neck the next morning.

But Serena had a habit of exaggerating.

She wasn’t always reliable.

Maybe I should just ask him.

I called Knox.

It rang a few times before he picked up.

“Knox. Are you asleep?”

The sound of water in the background.

He must’ve been in the shower.

He brought the phone closer-I could hear his breathing, low and even.

“In the shower. What’s up?”

My ears burned. I chickened out.

“Nothing. Go ahead.”

I hadn’t figured out how to ask anyway.

It’s not like I could just say, “Hey, did you sleep with Serena?”

That would be weird.

Forget it. Not tonight.
