My Three Roommates Used My Photos to Catfish Three Elite Alphas Chapter 02

I didn’t even need to investigate. The comments told me exactly where Vanessa and Ethan had agreed to meet: the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.

As it happened, I had landed a part-time job at one of the hotel’s restaurants just two days ago.

Since I’d been planning to accept that middle-aged man’s offer, I’d turned the job down yesterday.

I immediately called the restaurant manager.

He agreed without hesitation and told me I could come in whenever I was ready to start.

I touched my face and understood why he’d said yes so quickly.

I had known I was beautiful since middle school. My locker had always been stuffed with love letters, and after my wolf awakened, my white tea and cedar scent attracted plenty of young male wolves too.

But my mother had always told me that neither beauty nor scent should ever be used to hurt anyone.

That was why I had always earned my money through part-time jobs. I had never considered trading my appearance for money or opportunities. I refused to exploit my face, only for my roommates to do it behind my back.

When I arrived at the hotel, the manager took one look at me and assigned me to greet guests at the entrance.

The comments told me Ethan had already been waiting for Vanessa in a private dining room for three hours.

Five minutes ago, he’d received another message saying she was canceling at the last minute.

Before long, a tall man came down from the second floor.

The scent of fir and leather reached me first. The force of his Alpha presence made the nearby servers instinctively lower their heads.

Carrying a tray of drinks, I deliberately bumped straight into him.

Ethan was already furious after being stood up by his online girlfriend. The moment the drinks soaked his shirt, his expression turned icy.

I kept my head down, apologizing as I hurriedly tried to wipe his shirt clean.

Before he could scold me, I suddenly looked up.

The instant Ethan saw my face, his entire body went rigid.

The wolf inside him had clearly recognized the face from the photos before his mind caught up. He grabbed my arm, unmistakable delight breaking through his voice.

“Babe?”

Pretending to be confused, I immediately pulled my arm free.

“Sir, I think you have the wrong person.”

Ethan’s brows drew together.

“It’s me. I’m ‘Northern Gray Wolf.'”

“I don’t know you. Please step back.”

My cold response instantly wiped away his excitement.

He stood frozen in place, finally seeming to realize something as his expression darkened. Just as the tension between us turned suffocating, my phone rang.
