My Rival Claimed My Billionaire Husband, My Dog, and My Marriage? Oops, She Got All Three Wrong Chapter 09

I snorted.

I couldn’t help it. I laughed out loud.

I’d been on the receiving end of Alexander’s mouth enough times to know what was coming.

Whenever I got hate online, he’d grab every device in the house and go to war in the comments.

Last time, he made three people cry and nearly made a fourth one check into therapy.

Chloe’s face went past pale, turning completely ashen.

But against Alexander, she didn’t stand a chance.

Her fans, though, weren’t backing down.

“What if Stella actually came onto him, and now he’s defending the other woman?? This is insane.”

“Honestly, when a guy’s thinking with his ego, he’ll do anything. Poor Chloe.”

“Chloe literally invited her into her home, and she repaid her by going after her man?? That’s nasty.”

“She even stole the DOG. I can’t.”

Buddy must have picked up on something, because he started barking at Chloe.

Chloe froze in her tracks, playing the ultimate victim.

She bit down hard on her lip and turned on me.

“Stella, I don’t know what I ever did to you. You clearly hate me, and I’m not going to fight you over Alexander.

But could you at least have some decency?”

“Chloe looks like she’s about to break. I literally can’t watch this.”

“Chloe’s fans, we CANNOT let that woman get away with this. Everyone go drag Stella right now.”

“She needs to be blacklisted from the entire industry.”

I watched the hate scroll past, and something cold settled in my chest.

Keyboard warriors. Every single one of them.

They never ask why. They never look for the truth. They just type whatever they want.

They don’t care what happens next.

They never think about the person on the other side of the screen, what those words do to them, or where

they end up

And if someday, their target can’t take it anymore?

They shrug it off with one excuse: “It’s just a comment. Not my fault.” And just like that, their hands are clean.

That’s who they are. That’s how they sleep at night.

But they picked the wrong person this time.

I stepped forward, looked straight into the camera, and spoke.

“Does anyone have one actual piece of proof that I came onto Alexander?”

The chat went quiet for a beat.

Then the abuse came flooding back.

They said I looked like trouble waiting to happen. That of course I’d go after someone like Alexander.

They said my skirt was too short. That I was obviously trying to get attention.

They even came for my hair.

“What kind of actress dyes her hair PINK? It looks ridiculous. She’s embarrassing herself.”

I noted every single username.

With every eye on me, I opened my photo album.

I held a photo up to the camera. The insults kept coming.

Chloe was still going, riding the wave of the crowd’s rage.

“Stella, I know you think I stole roles from you, but everything I have, I earned.”

“If you were actually talented, nobody could take what’s yours.”

But halfway through, her eyes caught the live chat, and the words died in her throat.
