My Rival Claimed My Billionaire Husband, My Dog, and My Marriage? Oops, She Got All Three Wrong Chapter 04

The host’s eyebrows shot up.

“So Stella wants to call Alexander too?”

“That’s right.”

“Is this girl insane?? Clout-chasing once wasn’t enough, so she’s going for round two??”

“honestly let her call lol. I wanna see if he even picks up.”

“She’s literally calling another woman’s man right in front of her?? The AUDACITY. Celebrities will do anything for attention these days.”

Chloe looked away from the live chat, her expression wounded.

But she kept her composure, her voice carefully gracious.

“I didn’t even know you two knew each other.”

“Was it when you came over to my place that one time, when you took the photo of Simon?”

“and this is why you don’t bring random people to your house lol. They’ll steal your whole man.”

“ngl kind of disappointed in Alexander for giving his number to another woman.”

“Replying to the comment above: it’s obviously HER who’s the problem. If your girlfriend brings a friend over and that friend asks for your number, what are you supposed to do, say no? That would embarrass Chloe. He did it FOR her. That’s how much he respects her.”

“Exactly. He did nothing wrong. She’s the shameless one.”

Chloe held her wounded look, eyes glistening.

“Stella and I cross paths a lot in the industry, but off camera? I’ve always considered her a close friend.”

“Please don’t be too hard on her. I get it. She’s under so much pressure to stay relevant right now.”

One line, and she’d turned me into the villain.

Just like that, I was the jealous backstabber who’d betrayed a sweet, innocent friend.

The hate in the chat was relentless.

Even the crew was shooting me dirty looks.

I didn’t bother explaining. I pulled up his number and hit call.

Thirty seconds of ringing. No answer.

I tried his private line. Straight to voicemail. His phone was off.

The chat lit up with laughter.

“lmaooo did she seriously just save some random number under Alexander’s name and think we wouldn’t notice??”

“has to be fake. Otherwise, why would she have the guts to call in front of his actual girlfriend?”

“she only called because Chloe said he was in a meeting. If he doesn’t pick up, she can just blame that. Calculated.”

“the manipulation is WILD.”

Chloe gave me a pitying smile, her voice dripping with fake concern.

“Stella, as your friend, I really think you should focus on your craft. Chasing clout like this won’t get you where you want to go.”

“And when this industry moves on, you’ll be the only one left with nothing.”

Washed up? She can choke on her fake pity.

Right when I was about to snap, my phone buzzed.

I looked down. Alexander.

“Baby, I’m here. We’re going public today whether you like it or not. If you don’t, Buddy and I are crashing the set, and it won’t be pretty.”

At the same time, a crew member rushed over and whispered something in the host’s ear.

The host’s face lit up. She raised the mic.

“Our producer just gave me some very interesting news.”

She paused, eyes sliding to Chloe, before she continued.

“A mystery guest just arrived backstage, here to support one of our ladies tonight.”

The chat went still for half a second.

Then it exploded.

“NO WAY. Did Alexander actually show up for Chloe??”

“I think so. Someone already posted photos of him getting off a plane.”

“this is SO CUTE. I literally cannot handle it. My heart is going to burst.”

“oooh somebody’s in trouble. He definitely saw what was happening and came straight here to defend her.”

Chloe’s jaw dropped. She fidgeted with her hands, looking completely flustered.

“No way. He’s supposed to be overseas!”

The words had barely left her mouth when a man and a dog appeared on the far side of the stage.

Alexander walked out in a tailored suit, Buddy trotting beside him on a leash, and the whole set lost its mind.

Buddy caught my scent and lunged, straining against the leash, trying to get to me.

At the same moment, Chloe jumped to her feet and ran toward Buddy with her arms wide open.

“Simon! Oh my God, I missed you so much!”
