My Reborn Ex Dumped Me Again. Joke’s on Him, I Married Better Chapter 13

The day Grayson came looking for me, I was crouched outside a florist near the Harrington estate,

around to find Grayson standing at the shop entrance. Unshaven, his

mis suit rumpled beyond recognition.. Nothing remained of the polished Mr.

I frowned and stepped around him to leave,

“Seraphina!” He lunged forward and seized my wrist. His grip nearly crushed bone. “I know I was

wrong. Please, just forgive me.”

I tried to pull free twice but couldn’t. I stared at him coldly. “We’re not familiar, Mr. Blackwood. Let

go.”

“It was Celeste who drugged you.”

“The whole thing was Celeste’s doing. I hated the wrong person. I wronged you, Seraphina. Come back. Please. I’ll divorce Celeste. I’ll marry you. I’ll give you everything. Anything you want, I’ll give it to you. Don’t stay with Dorian Harrington. He’s nothing but a-”

“Nothing but a what?”

A cool male voice came from behind me. Grayson’s words died in his throat.

I turned. Dorian stood a few paces away in a black overcoat.

Two bodyguards strode past him. They pried Grayson’s hand off my wrist with enough force to make him grunt in pain.

Dorian stepped forward and shielded me behind him. He lifted his eyes to Grayson. “Mr. Blackwood, you think you can lay a hand on my wife?”

Grayson stared at the way Dorian sheltered me. His eyes went red. “Dorian Harrington, don’t act so smug. Seraphina and I knew each other first. We were husband and wife in our last life!”

“Your last life?”

Dorian’s mouth curved with faint contempt. “In your last life, you shoved her into a storage room.

You let people rip her apart behind her back. You let her die in a hospital with no one to claim her

body. And you still have the nerve to bring up your last life?”

All the blood drained from Grayson’s face.

How did he know?

Dorian ignored the shock in Grayson’s eyes. He glanced at his watch, his voice utterly flat. “You

have three minutes to disappear from Harrington property. The next time I catch you harassing my wife, it won’t end as politely as today.”

Grayson stood frozen, watching me stay tucked behind Dorian, refusing to spare him even a

glance. The fight bled out of him all at once.

He knew then. He had truly lost me.

Two lifetimes of loss. All his own doing.

He didn’t have the face to stay any longer. He turned and walked away in humiliation, his back hunched like a stray dog’s.
