My Husband Wished for My Love, Then Got Bored in Year Seven Chapter 07

He looked utterly wrecked.

Hadn’t the trip he’d wanted so badly with Angela brought him any happiness?

“Let’s eat.” I ignored him and turned, leading Joseph back toward the living room.

Thomas stared at our intertwined hands and slammed his fist hard against the iron gate.

He had never taken Joseph seriously.

Nadia had told me that once, while I was still with Thomas, we’d visited Joseph and said cruel, mocking

things to him.

Thomas believed that every time I’d pushed him away and stayed with Joseph, it was just a ploy to make him

jealous.

“Lucille, are you going to defy me now?”

I shut the front door, sealing his furious voice outside.

That evening, as I stepped out to take the trash, he lunged from the shadows, grabbed my arm, and tried to drag me toward his car. “Come home!”

“This is my home now.” I wrenched free of his grip.

I stepped backward, putting space between us.

Thomas stared in shock, his expression darkening.

“Can’t you stop this nonsense? Do you know how long I searched for you?”

He shouted, and his voice cracked with raw emotion.

“When I got back and saw the collapsed mansion, I charged straight into the wreckage without a second thought. I dug through rubble until my hands bled.”

“Everyone said you were dead-burned beyond recognition. I was the only one who refused to believe it

“I finally found you. Come back with me.”

He reached for me with bloodied hands, trying to pull me close

I stepped back once more, my tone calm and steady

“What exactly are you trying to say?”

Thomas’s lips quivered.

“I know you’re furious about the fire. I’ll make Mason apologize to you in person.”

“Please don’t be like this. Back then, whenever I got hurt, you worried more than I did…”

I had nearly lost my life, and he thought a simple apology would fix everything?

A bitter laugh escaped me.

“Thomas, you heard everything I said earlier. I have never loved you.”

“You begged the One Wish Willow to make me fall for you.”

Hatred flashed in my eyes as I spoke.

“If it weren’t for you and that cursed wish, Joseph and I would already be married. Our kids would be running

around the yard by now.”

He refused to accept it.

“That’s a lie. You’re angry about the trip with Angela, so you’re saying all this just to hurt me.”

“So you’re finally admitting it wasn’t a business trip?”

His face turned even paler.

“I… I didn’t cheat on her. Nothing inappropriate ever happened between us…”

“I don’t remember a single day of those seven years. I’ve already signed the divorce papers, Thomas. We’re

done.”

Thomas stared at me in disbelief. “What did you just say?”

I gave him no answer and turned to leave.

He sprinted forward to grab me, but Joseph dropped him with a single punch.

“For seven years, you threw away your chance. You had everything you wanted, and you threw it away. Don’t

blame anyone but yourself.”

“Leave Lucille alone, or next time I won’t hold back!”

Thomas lay on the grass, spitting blood, sneering up at Joseph from the ground.

“Lucille loves me. She only came to you to make me jealous. What are you so proud of? I’ll never sign those divorce papers!”

Thomas didn’t believe in the wish, and he refused to accept that I had lost all memories of our years

together.

He rented a place nearby and started shadowing us every day.

Whenever Joseph touched me or cared for me, Thomas would rush forward and tear us apart.

“That’s enough. You don’t have to put on such an affectionate show just to spite me.”

Jealousy consumed him. He grew restless, paranoid, and tormented by constant doubt. He even climbed over the wall late at night, terrified that Joseph and Lucille were sleeping together.

When he caught sight of us lying together, he screamed in a frenzy.

“I won’t allow this! Don’t let this fake act become real!”

The day Joseph and I planned to get married abroad, Thomas showed up at city hall in a rage.

“Lucille, this joke has gone far enough.” He grabbed me frantically. “Stop this. Let’s go home. I was wrong. I’ll never see Angela again. I’ll send her away right this instant, I promise.”

Security guards dragged him outside.

The moment Joseph and I walked out holding our marriage certificate, Thomas was already tangled in an

argument with Angela.

He tried to rush over to speak to me once more. Then Angela spoke up.

“The One Wish Willow is real. Do you remember the wish you made on my birthday?”

“You wished for Lucille to stop loving you. Her feelings for you are gone, and she has forgotten you. Why are you begging like this? She doesn’t love you at all!!”
