My Husband Timetravelled from 5 Years Later to Force an ABORTION—So I Ruined His Entire Family Chapter 01

By some strange twist of fate, I came face to face with Aiden Cole, who had traveled back from five years in the future.

I rested a gentle hand on my slightly swollen belly, my heart racing with excitement. “We’re about to get our marriage license,” I said. “Tell me—what’s our life like five years from now? Are we happy?”

“What will our child grow up to be?”

Aiden barely glanced at me. “There’s no child. He was dead”

I froze. Before I could react, he grabbed my wrist and dragged me toward his car like a madman.

“I met my one true love in the second year of our marriage,” he snarled. “Because of you, I could never give her a proper status, and she pined away from sorrow until her death.”

“Ever since Lena passed away, the sight of you and that kid has turned my stomach every single day. Can you even imagine that?” he snapped. “You’re getting rid of that baby right now. This time, I’m going to do right by Lena.”

I stared into his bloodshot eyes, frozen with terror. Then I started pounding on the car window, fighting to get out.

“What’s wrong with you? Let me out of this car! I’m pregnant! This is your baby!”

Aiden didn’t slow down. Instead, a cold, cruel laugh escaped his lips.

“This child is the very reason I’ve been stuck in this ridiculous marriage my whole life!”

He turned his head toward me, a vicious gleam of revenge in his eyes. “Let me tell you the truth. This worthless creature won’t live long. When he turns three, he’ll wander down to the river and drown.”

“And you would break down completely from the shock, turning into a distraught woman who cries to everyone she meets.”

I felt as if I’d plunged into an icy abyss. Every drop of blood in my body ran cold.

Seeing my face drain of all color, Aiden’s grin turned into an ugly, malicious smirk.

“I might as well tell you the whole story. It was never an accident.”

He leaned in close, his voice dropping to a whisper like a fiend straight out of the underworld. “I’m the one who tossed him into the river with my own hands.”

“Lena is gone, and you owe her a life. So I took the one thing you love most to pay that debt.”

I stared at that familiar yet foreign face, choking on the absurdity of it all.

“You’ve lost your mind! This can’t be real—are you joking?”

“A joke?”

Aiden let out a bitter laugh, as if I’d said something truly ridiculous, and slammed his fist against the steering wheel.

“You want to know how I traveled back from five years in the future?” He tapped his temple, his eyes burning with pure hatred. “You found out the truth about our son’s death. You flew into a rage, cornered me, and dragged me to the roof. Then you jumped and pulled me over the edge with you—you were determined to take us both down.”

“Fortunately, fate took pity on me. The heavens saw how deeply I loved Lena and gave me a second chance.”

His gaze was ice-cold, devoid of any warmth whatsoever. “This time, I’m setting this terrible wrong right for good. I won’t let you come between us ever again.”

The next second, he slammed on the brakes.

The force threw me forward, and my forehead slammed hard against the windshield. A sharp pain shot through me, and an ugly swollen welt rose on my forehead.

Aiden didn’t care. He didn’t even flinch. He walked around the car, yanked open the passenger door, and dragged me out onto the pavement as I fought him with everything I had.

We were outside the private clinic where we were supposed to come for my prenatal checkup the next day.

A nurse in the lobby recognized us right away and put on her usual ingratiating professional grin. “Mr. Cole! It’s nice to see you and your wife here for another prenatal checkup. We’ll get you set up with VIP access right away.”

“Forget the checkup,” Aiden snapped, waving her off like she was nothing. “Schedule an abortion immediately.”

He pointed straight at me, speaking slowly and clearly so everyone could hear.

“Get rid of the child she’s carrying. Do it as fast as you can—and make sure she can never have another child for the rest of her life.”

“Aiden!” I screamed in despair.

But the clinic belonged to the Cole family. Every single person working there followed his orders without question. No matter how hard I fought, several security guards pinned me down. They strapped me to a hospital bed and wheeled me straight into the operating room.

When I woke up, Aiden was standing by my bed, deleting every trace of me from my phone.

“You’re awake?” He didn’t even look up. He hit one last delete button, and every photo and memory we’d shared vanished in an instant. He tossed the cracked phone onto my bed with a hollow thud.

He stared down his nose at me.

“Don’t ever come near me again. Pretend we never met.”

“You know what my family is capable of. Eliminating you would be effortless for my family.”

I clutched the crisp white bed linens tightly. My voice came out hoarse and broken. “Who is she?”

Aiden frowned. “What?”

“Answer me,” I said. “This woman you claim to love—the one who made you hurt our child not once, but twice. Who exactly is she?”
