My CEO Husband Let Her Ruin Our Wedding Live Chapter 04

Everything spiraled.

The moment I went live, the chat exploded. Messages flooded the screen faster than I could read.

Stellan joined the stream, trying to push back against the wave of hate and clear Lysette’s name.

Gareth’s voice came through my earpiece. “Say something first. Otherwise, they’re just here for the drama.”

I looked straight into the camera.

Then I smiled, calm and controlled. “Stellan and I have broken up. That’s all there is to it. No need to keep digging.”

The chat detonated.

[So that confirms it. Lysette was the side piece!]

[Homewrecker, get lost! Trash boyfriend too. Mirelle deserves better!]

My phone lit up nonstop.

[When did I agree to a breakup?]

[Have you lost your mind?]

[Are you trying to destroy Lyse?]

[I’ll keep my distance from her, I promise. Just clear this up first, okay?]

I kept talking, kept selling, like nothing was happening.

Then another message came through.

[I’m sorry, Mirelle. I don’t have a choice.]

Seconds later, the gifts started.

One after another.

In less than a minute, Stellan shot to the top of the leaderboard. His messages took over the screen through the gift effects.

[Lysette Hale is my girlfriend.]

It flashed across the stream.

Then disappeared.

More gifts.

More messages.

I stared at the screen, frozen.

The product slipped from my hand and shattered on the floor.

[I’ve been with Lysette for years. We’re happy. Stop harassing her.]

[And you, the streamer, stop clinging to this for attention.]

[Anyone who spreads lies about her will hear from my lawyers.]

He burned through a fortune just to fabricate innocence for her.

Erased everything we had.

Erased the years we survived together, the life we built from nothing, the only real love I ever believed in.

Fifteen years.

To him, it meant nothing.

Sound dropped out of the world.

I opened my mouth, but all I tasted was blood.

It felt like something reached inside me and tore everything apart. My chest hollowed out, my thoughts shredded, like I was being ripped open from the inside.

The boy I loved, the one I grew up with, was gone.

Gone completely.

The studio lights pinned me in place.

There was nowhere to hide.

I covered my face and broke.

Right there, in front of thousands of people, I cried.

Not quiet tears.

Not controlled.

It was the kind of pain that stripped everything away.

Reason. Pride. Control.

All gone.

The room erupted into chaos.

“Block the camera!”

“Shut it down, now!”

“She passed out. Someone get her!”

The stream cut.

And I woke up in a hospital.
