My $10M Supercar, Her Pink Cat Nest Chapter 03

My $10M Supercar, Her Pink Cat Nest Chapter 03 The Wild Horse
The guests’ faces changed at once.
Some looked shocked. Some looked curious.
Most of them looked thrilled to watch the drama unfold.
Whispers started rising right in front of us.
As speculation spread through the hall, Conrad’s expression turned ugly.
“What nonsense are you talking about? We were having a normal conversation. What do you mean, getting cozy?”
Fiona also looked tense and embarrassed.
“Mrs. Bennett, Mr. Bennett and I are completely innocent. Nothing is going on between us.”
“Oh? Completely innocent…”
I repeated the words slowly, then laughed softly.
“Fine. Let’s say you are.”
I dismounted smoothly and glanced at Fiona.
“Then I’ll have to trouble you, Ms. Lane. Take my horse to rest, and make sure it gets plenty of hay. I paid a fortune for this horse, so don’t neglect it.”
Fiona did not move.
She stood there awkwardly, then looked to Conrad for help.
Just then, a young woman I knew stepped out of the crowd.
“Yasmin, what are you doing here? And you rode in on a horse? That’s so badass! Is this one of those legendary purebred racing horses?”
I looked at Olivia Brooks and smiled.
“Good eye. If you want one, I’ll give you one. This horse is from my new riding estate. I have plenty of breeds there. Drop by when you’re free, pick whichever one you like, and tell them I sent you.”
Olivia’s eyes lit up.
“Really? Yasmin, you’re amazing!”
After chatting with her for a few seconds, I turned to the rest of the guests.
“Anyone interested can come visit my new riding estate sometime. Consider it doing me a favor by showing up. No fees. If you see a horse you like, you can pick one and take it home.”
The hall immediately filled with excited responses.
“Ms. Sterling, that’s generous! Then we won’t be polite!”
“I’ve heard your family built a top-tier riding estate. I’ve wanted to see it for ages!”
I smiled and answered them one by one.
Then my eyes slid back to Fiona, and my tone turned pointed.
“Some beasts are too wild for their own good. You have to give them a wide place to run, or they’ll keep eyeing other people’s things. But no matter how wild a horse is, it’s still a plaything in the end. It can only be ridden and broken in.”
I looked straight at Fiona.
“Don’t you agree, Ms. Lane?”
Fiona forced herself to stay calm, but her body shifted behind Conrad before she could stop it.
“Ms. Sterling, I don’t understand what you mean.”
Her face had gone pale.
The guilt was almost written across her forehead.
But Conrad was not paying attention to her.
He was too busy staring at me in confusion.
“What riding estate? Why don’t I know anything about a riding estate at home?”
Before I could answer, one of the guests enjoying the show jumped in.
“Mr. Bennett, Ms. Sterling turned your private garage into a riding estate. The video’s everywhere online. Here, take a look.”
That guest very helpfully forwarded my post to him.
In just a few hours, it had climbed to the top of the trending chart.
Conrad watched the post and the video.
His face darkened by the second.
Then he whipped around and glared at me, eyes almost spitting fire.
“You smashed my garage?”
I met his furious stare and smiled even brighter.
“Yes. Happy? Now we have horses to ride.”
“Yasmin Sterling!”
Conrad gritted out my name, veins jumping at his temples.
“Are you insane? Who gave you the right to touch my things? Do you know I spent three hundred million dollars and two full years building that garage? And you destroyed it without even telling me?”
“I’m not insane.”
My smile disappeared.
I stared back at him coldly.
“You were allowed to give away the car I bought, but I’m not allowed to tear down your precious garage? I learned everything from you. Mr. Bennett, people shouldn’t be this hypocritical.”
My voice grew colder with every word.
Only then did Conrad finally catch the important part.
“You mean… that car?”
