Live Streamed Death: Reborn to Ruin My Family Chapter 01

Live Streamed Death: Reborn to Ruin My Family Chapter 01: Given a Second Life
My bones were different—one hundred times denser than a regular human’s.
So I took my brother’s place in his so-called “Extreme Weight-Bearing” stream.
His job? Smash stones on me. The whole “stone-smashing” gimmick.
My parents used to never shut up about how much I ate. But now? Suddenly I was “gifted.” Greed glinted in their eyes.
“Mia, add one more slab. That’ll push your brother over ten million. Easy!”
The donation total hit ten million. That was when I heard it—my ribs cracking.
Blood trickled out of my mouth. Then everything went black.
But my brother Skyler Clark’s voice—shrill, ecstatic—drowned me out.
“Shout out to our top donor for that Super Chat! Best moment of my life!”
“Mom, Dad, that donor said he’ll buy us a whole new house!”
Everyone was drunk on the rush of getting rich overnight.
Then I heard a medic whisper, just loud enough for the family to catch.
“Mr. Clark, her ribs are broken. They’ve gone into her lung!”
My dad Mark Clark grabbed the defibrillator away. His hands were trembling. His voice shook—but with excitement.
“Perfect. She dies? Even better. I bet against her—in her own name. And she finally delivered. For me.”
Given a second life, I’d drag every last one of them to hell myself!

The moment my mind came back, a sharp phantom pain tore through my chest. I shot up in bed.
It wasn’t a hospital ceiling. It was the room I’d lived in for twenty years.
My heart hammered as I fumbled for my phone and checked the date.
Seven days. That was all I had.
Seven days before the stream that had ended me.
Last time, I was a broken doll on that stage. A prop. Just there to make my brother look good.
Then my ribs caved in, and I heard them—betting that I wouldn’t make it.
“Mia! What’s wrong with you? Get in here and eat!”
My mom, Stella, called from outside. Her voice had its usual edge.
At the table, my brother, Skyler, had his head down, stuffing his face. My parents kept piling meat into his bowl.
“Skyler, eat up. Next week’s stream is on you. That’s our family’s big break.”
Stella’s voice was thick with hope.
Skyler lifted his greasy face and mumbled through a mouthful of food.
“Mom, relax. With Mia as a human shield, ten million in revenue is easy.”
My dad, Mark, nodded and turned to me with a kindness I’d never seen before.
“Mia, your gift is this family’s treasure. So what if you eat a lot? The more you eat, the stronger you are!”
He did something he’d never done in twenty years—he put a piece of meat in my bowl.
I stared at that greasy meat. My stomach turned.
This was the family that made me lie on the floor for Skyler’s stream, letting slab after cold slab crush my chest.
When my ribs shattered and blood poured from my mouth, all they did was celebrate the gifts.
“Why aren’t you eating? You don’t like what I gave you?”
Mark’s brow furrowed, his greedy face instantly turning sour.
I dropped my gaze to hide the hate, picked up the meat, and quietly placed it in Skyler’s bowl.
“Skyler’s the star. He needs the energy to hype up the stream.”
Skyler froze for a second, then smirked. “Finally, you get it. This stream runs on me, not you.”
“You’re just a tool.”
I lowered my head and ate pasta without a word.
I said nothing. But inside: Not this time. Never again.
You wanted to trade my life for a mansion?
Fine. I’d send every last one of you to hell myself.
The next morning, Mark couldn’t wait to start my so-called “pre-game training.”
He’d dragged home a bunch of concrete slabs from some construction sites and stacked them right in our tiny living room.
“Mia, come on. Start with two. Let’s see where your limit is.”
He rubbed his hands together, looking at me like I was a product about to sell for a fortune.
Skyler set up his phone and went live, tacked on a clickbait title:
“Extreme Weight-Bearing King Pre-Show Training – Witness a Human Miracle!”
Only a few dozen people trickled into the stream.
In my past life, this was exactly how it started. Under their orders, I pushed my limits again and again—until the real stream ended in disaster.
I didn’t budge. Skyler’s patience ran out. “Mia, just lie down already. What’s the holdup?”
I did as I was told. The second my back hit that cold floor, I was wide awake.
Mark and Skyler lifted the first slab and dropped it onto my chest. Didn’t even hesitate.
My bones were never normal. Dense and unbreakably strong. I could take a hundred times what anyone else could.
That was my gift. And my death sentence.
“See that, guys? My sister didn’t even blink!”
Skyler hollered into his phone like he was performing.
Stella stood nearby. Her eyes glued to the donation counter on the screen, muttering under her breath.
“A small Super Sticker, a mid-tier one… that’s nothing. Pathetic…”
