I Traded My Wolves for a Cold-Blooded Serpent, But Why is He Always Hitting on Me Chapter 05

I never got the dryer.

The next day, an unwanted guest showed up.

The family butler stood politely at my door: “Miss, Master says you’ve had your fun. It’s time to come home for the

marriage.”

His tone left no room for argument.

I refused: “No.”

The butler smiled: “Miss, this is Master and Madam’s wish.”

Behind him, bodyguards stepped forward.

I sneered: “You think I won’t stab that guy on our wedding day and kill myself right after?”

The butler’s face paled.

He pressed on: “Master says if you marry, you get five percent of Qi Group stock.”

My hand froze on the doorknob.

The butler looked smug: “The car’s downstairs. Oh, and Miss Ella said to bring Mr. Serpentes with you.”

I turned and looked at Serpentes. Our eyes met.

His dark eyes were still empty.

But for some reason, chills ran down my spine.
