I Froze for 4 Hours Outside While He Threw a Party with Her Chapter 06

I Froze for 4 Hours Outside While He Threw a Party with Her Chapter 06

I didn’t reply to Julian’s messages.

Just like he had done to me before-I saw them and pretended I hadn’t.

The clarification was very brief. It simply told the whole truth from beginning to end.

There were things I had handled poorly in the emotional conflict between Julian and me, but I had never deliberately tormented him.

The reason my grandmother fell was that she had identified Mia as “the other woman.” Mia then shoved her, and she fell to the ground.

Mia and I were not close. I didn’t know what kind of relationship she and Julian had now.

And the final line.

I had decided to break up with Julian. There was no longer any relationship between us.

I posted the exact same content on my personal social media account as well.

When Julian couldn’t reach me, he sent his friends in his place.

They cracked jokes, trying to sweep everything under the rug.

“Stella, are you just in a fight with Julian?”

“No matter how angry you are, you can’t just throw the word ‘breakup’ around. It hurts the relationship way too much. And you’ve made it such a big deal.”

“Julian’s right here next to me. Quick, explain to him that’s not what you meant.”

I cut off this useless conversation.

“There’s nothing to explain.”

“It means exactly what it says.”

“I never really had much contact with any of you anyway. No need to stay in touch from now on.”

The chat box repeatedly showed “the other party is typing.”

I didn’t look at it anymore. I simply tapped delete and, in the process, blocked every single person connected to Julian in my contacts.

Things went quiet on Julian’s end.

But under my clarification post, many more people appeared.

Most of them were women. They comforted me and told me it was going to be okay.

Many more sent me private messages to comfort me.

They confided in me that they had been through very similar experiences.

Being given the silent treatment.

Getting into fights because you sensed the other person didn’t care about you anymore, only to be defeated

by that line: “You’re just being too sensitive.”

And boyfriends with no sense of boundaries, carrying on with other girls and making them miserable.

I couldn’t reply to every single one. I could only sigh at how so many love stories in this world always follow

the same pattern.

Wonderful at the beginning. Then the intensity gradually fades. And in the end, it all becomes a mess.

Among them, one girl was furious.

She said she was the very girlfriend mentioned in the comments of that first video-the one people referred to as “Just ignore her and she’ll fall into line.”

She posted a furious rant on her own page.

“Who’s your girlfriend?”

“We broke up three years ago. Still calling me your girlfriend? How delusional can you get?”

“I was the one who realized you were a coward who couldn’t shoulder any responsibility and only knew how to run away. I dumped you.”

“You really know how to make yourself look good.”

She sent me a hug emoji.

“Since I broke up with that guy, my life has gotten better and better.”

“I wish the same for you. Have the courage to say goodbye to the past, and you can find a new future too.”

A thread of warmth slipped through my heart.

I solemnly sent her a reply. “Thank you.”

Actually, during that time when Julian had told me to stop acting out, I had already learned.

I learned not to wonder what he was doing every time I had a spare moment. I learned not to be consumed by anxiety over whether I was gaining or losing. I learned not to drain myself over a relationship that had

already reached its end.

And today, I pulled it out completely, down to the roots.

The roots had been buried too deep. The wound would still bleed. But I believed that one day, it would heal.

Grandma patted me.

“Stella, we’re home.”

I put my phone away and lifted my face into a smile.

“Grandma, let’s go.”

Because of these two waves of scandal, there were people and coworkers I would run into who looked at me

with strange eyes.

Even during afternoon tea, there would be people discussing it in the break room.

The ones I normally didn’t get along with couldn’t resist enjoying the spectacle.

“I thought her boyfriend really loved her to death. She always seemed so happy.”

“Who would have thought? Who would have thought?”

“How could she not even hold on to her own man?”

She clicked her tongue repeatedly.

She was about to keep gossiping when Zack Morris knocked on the door.

He looked very approachable, but his smile didn’t reach his eyes.

“What are you all saying? Tell me too, I’d love to hear it.”

The whole group was like quails with their necks wrung.

“Morris Jr..”
