I turned away and refused to look at him.

“When Jake said he wanted to ask me out, you told him to knock himself out.”

“I was out of my mind.”

“Just thinking about him wanting to date you makes me sick.”

“I want to punch him.”

With a face like his and that desperate expression, resisting him was almost impossible.

His warm breath brushed my palm, making my mouth go dry.

He kept promising that he would do anything I asked, that he was completely at my mercy.

I nearly cracked.
