**Lucas’s POV**

Ethan got Lily excused from classes and sent her home to recover.

He offered to stay with her, but she told him to go back to campus because his hovering was driving

her crazy.

He left reluctantly, glancing back as if he wanted to ask something.

In the end, he said nothing.

Back in the men’s dorm, the tension was suffocating.

Lucas rubbed his red-rimmed eyes and felt as if his entire world had collapsed.

He couldn’t understand it.

Only a few hours earlier, she had told him she missed him.

Now she was suddenly done.

And this time, it was real.

She had threatened to break up before, but she had never blocked him.

This time, his messages stopped delivering, and her profile disappeared.

The door swung open, and Ethan walked in.

When he saw Lucas’s wrecked expression, he frowned.

“What is going on with you and my sister?”

Lucas was too drained to process the question.

“What do you mean?”

“I’m not sure either,” Ethan said.

“I saw Lily’s phone earlier. She blocked you.”

“She stared at your profile picture for a long time before she did it.”

Lucas shot to his feet so quickly that everyone in the room jumped.

He grabbed Ethan by the arms.

“You’re sure she blocked me?”

“Yeah. You’re the only person I know with that profile picture.”

Ethan scratched his head, confused.

“Wait. I’m the one asking questions.”

“What is going on between you two that I don’t know about?”

A heavy silence settled over the room.

Lucas’s expression darkened as realization dawned.

His hands slowly curled into fists.

“Ethan,” he said, sounding completely defeated, “I think I’m screwed.”

Without another word, he headed for the door.

“Where are you going?”

“To get the security footage and find out who hurt her.”

He was gone before anyone could respond.

Everyone in the room exchanged bewildered looks.

After a long pause, Ethan’s jaw dropped.

“Wait.”

“You don’t think my sister is his online girlfriend, do you?”
