I DRUGGED the Ruthless Billionaire for One Night of Passion Chapter 04

Back in high school, Ethan had been a sweet guy. Warm and polite, but also funny.

His family moved into the villa next door right when my parents were going through their divorce. I watched them leave me behind in that house, and after that, they never came back. I sat on my doorstep crying, and he was the one who handed me tissues and a milk candy.

Later, he transferred to Pinewood Private High School. Different grade, different class. But ever since he showed up, he’d reigned as the top student in our grade ever since.

After my parents left, I fell into a really dark place. He brought me food from his house during the day and came over to help me with homework at night. Eventually, he introduced me to his parents, Arthur and Martha Blake.

They were so good to me. Most of the time, they felt like my real parents. Martha especially—whenever she went shopping, she’d pick out clothes for me too and send Ethan over with them. I always felt so awkward about it.

But she’d just smile and pat my shoulder. “Don’t be shy, sweetie. I’ve always wanted a daughter, and I just feel so close to you. When I see something that suits you, I can’t help buying it.”

On the walk home, Ethan would ruffle my hair and laugh. “My mom just really likes you. Just take whatever she gives you. We know you’ve got more than enough money.”

He was right. My parents never skimped on my allowance. They saw me as the lingering shadow of their failed marriage, so neither of them wanted to look at me.

The Blakes were a ray of warm sunlight cutting through my darkest years. His parents loved me like their own child. I knew they were good people. And I knew they felt sorry for me.

And now I’d gone and tied up their son.

Did I feel guilty?

I shook my head. Not at all.

If he really didn’t want it, he could have stopped me. I knew I was lying to myself. I didn’t care.

Ethan stayed in the room all afternoon and into the night. I looked at the table full of food, but I wasn’t hungry. I knocked on his door.

“Come eat something.”

To my surprise, he opened the door just a few seconds later. He sat down at the table like nothing had happened. But he didn’t say a word. He radiated a clear vibe that told everyone to keep their distance.

It didn’t bother me, though. Besides the pills, I’d also bought a bunch of flavored options. I held them out for him to choose from, my face completely blank.

Ethan looked like he was about to lose it. “Are you really that craving for me?”

I nodded seriously. “I guess so.”

He grabbed a strawberry one from my hand and lay down flat on the bed.

It probably didn’t fit the mood, but a line from an old poem popped into my head: Gather ye rosebuds while ye may.

I climbed on top of him and gave it everything I had. His moves got rougher and rougher. Finally, he bit down on my ear. “Zoe Hunter… you drive me absolutely crazy.”

I was too tired to speak. But I thought to myself, you won’t have to. You’ll get your wish soon enough.

Three days of this went by. Ethan was still full of energy. Every day, he handled work for Blake Global Trading Group like nothing was wrong, and even found time to make fun of me.

I, on the other hand, started feeling really run down. So I sent him back to the guest room.

He leaned against the doorframe, smirking. “Got bored of me already?”

I couldn’t be bothered to argue. I just nodded. “Yeah. I’m bored.”
