I DRUGGED the Ruthless Billionaire for One Night of Passion Chapter 03

Ethan kept his word. After I untied him, he didn’t try to leave. He just asked for my laptop.

“Are you emailing Riley for help?”

Ethan stared at me like I’d lost my common sense. “Do I really need someone to come get me? If I’d wanted to leave, I wouldn’t need anyone’s help. ”

It wasn’t that I was slow. I’d long since stopped thinking straight. I gave him the laptop anyway. I’d already quit my job, so I didn’t need it.

Ethan sat on the balcony working. I curled up on the living room couch and watched him in silence. The sunlight slanted down at an almost perfect angle, giving me the illusion of quiet, perfect peace. Except that I’d tied him up to get it.

The afternoon sun got bright, and I started feeling sleepy. I tried to stay awake, but eventually I passed out.

When I opened my eyes again, Ethan was gone. I jumped up and ran around frantically in my bare feet until I pushed open the bathroom door.

My heart finally sank back down from my throat, but every trace of my rationality vanished the moment I laid eyes on him. I launched myself at him.

I had no idea what I was doing, so I nipped and kissed him wildly, desperate to leave my mark on him. My heart raced like a skittish creature darting about aimlessly. I clung to him like glue, refusing to let go.

Through the haze, I heard Ethan sigh. Then a strong arm pulled me up.

“You’re out of your mind… but I like it.”

Like what?

Before I could figure it out, he bit down on my neck, and just like that, he seized control completely.

I was starting to believe what Lena had told me. For men, romantic feelings and physical desire are clearly worlds apart.

Afterwards, when the heat of the moment had faded, Ethan leaned against the headboard and studied me. “Zoe, I swear you’ve been possessed by some spirit.”

After knowing each other for so long, his suspicion made sense. I was nothing like my old self.

“You’re right,” I said, nodding seriously. “A sex demon.”

Ethan narrowed his eyes. “Then why come after me?”

I tilted my head and thought about it. “I guess you’re the only one who’s ever been this easy for me to have.”

I grabbed my phone to order takeout, but Ethan stopped me. “Seriously? You got me here with a home-cooked meal, had your way with me, and now you’re brushing me off with takeout?”

I ignored him.

Half an hour later, the delivery arrived. Ethan’s eyes went wide when he saw the white paper bag in my hand. He completely lost it when I pulled out a box of pills.

He rushed over and grabbed my chin. “Zoe! What the hell are you doing? You’re taking those?”

I forced the words out. “Do you expect me to bear an heir for the Blake family?”

His face flushed with anger. His fingers dug into my chin, harder and harder.

“You have the nerve to do all this, but you’re scared of having a baby?”

“That hurts!”

I fought to get free, but I knew he was really angry. So I came up with a plausible excuse.

“Of course I’d love to give you an heir. It’s just that I remembered I took a lot of antibiotics for a cold a couple of days ago.” I frowned at him. “What? Do you think I’m trying to trap you with a kid?”

Ethan looked away. His voice went cold. “Keep dreaming. You’re nothing but a gold-digger.”

“Ethan, you’ve never treated me like this before! Yes, I pushed you into this. But if you really didn’t want to, you could’ve stopped me.”

I thought he’d turn around and leave. But he just slammed the door shut.

Well. He keeps his word. I almost felt bad.
