Ava raised her hand and slapped her across the face.

The little boy suddenly charged at Ava and slammed into her stomach like a bullet.

“You’re a bad woman! How dare you hit my mom?”

Pain exploded through Ava, and her vision went black.

“Luca!”

Mia screamed and rushed forward, knocking Ava to the floor.
