When Chase noticed me looking, he tilted his head and smiled.

“Let’s go. The driver’s waiting outside.”

Hearing Elias’s name pulled me out of my thoughts. “What?”

“Nothing. Just remember what I said.”

I was annoyed, but I didn’t argue.
