He Fell For My Sister From A Class Photo Chapter 11

Someone strode toward me.

I rubbed my eyes, still unable to make out a face, before I felt a cool hand brace the back of my neck.

He hooked an arm around my lower back and lifted me up.

Standing there, he inspected me from head to toe.

He even parted my hair to check my neck.

Through the blurry light, I saw him frowning hard before he finally touched my forehead.

“Are you hurt anywhere?” he asked.

He carried a faint, cool clean scent.

The alcohol had me burning up, and I instinctively nuzzled my face against his shoulder.

The arms holding me tensed.

I mumbled, “So tired.”

His hand stroked my hair, featherlight.

Then he murmured, “You drank so much you fell asleep in the bathroom, of all places.”

He stripped off his down jacket and wrapped it tightly around me.

Effortlessly, he scooped me up into his arms.

My consciousness was hazy with alcohol, but something told me I was safe with him.

He smelled familiar, and the way he held me was so gentle,

Next thing I knew, I was being placed in a car.

I sat in the passenger seat as he leaned over to buckle me in.

“I’m taking you back to rest,” he said.

But the moment the engine turned over, a wave of dizziness hit me.

I tapped on the door, telling him to pull over.

“I feel sick,” I groaned, pressing my head.

He slammed the brakes and leaned over, trying to move my hands to check on me.

I waved him off and buried my face under his jacket.

A long time passed.

Just as I was drifting off again, I heard him restart the car.

The dizziness surged back.

I slapped the door again.

Defeated, he gave up trying to drive.

Half-conscious, I thought I heard him chuckle.

His voice was low and soft. “You’re so quiet normally. You’re adorable when you’re drunk.”

On that winter night, he just parked the car on the side of the road.

I sank into a deep sleep, only vaguely aware of a gaze fixed on me.

A stare so focused, so tender.

In my dreams, that cool, cool scent filled my lungs.

I jolted awake when I felt a cool spot on my forehead.

My eyes flew open.

I caught the guy in front of me straightening up, about to pull back.

“Ethan?” I frowned and slowly said his name.

I pressed my hand to my forehead.

That cool sensation… Ethan had just kissed my forehead.

The drunken fog lifted instantly.

Ethan’s ears were bright red.

He pressed his lips together and asked, as if nothing had happened, “Still feel sick?”

I shot him a look.

I suddenly pushed the jacket back at him, shoved the car door open, and started to get out.

Ethan moved faster.

The second I stepped out, he’d already circled around and blocked my path.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, standing in front of me.

I looked up at him. “Why did you just kiss me on the sly?”

Ethan’s expression shifted.

The truth I had been dodging, the reality I refused to face, was now smacking me right in the face.

I asked him, “You figured it out, didn’t you.”

I said, “That person is me.”
