He Compared Me To My Father’s Mistress’s Daughter Chapter 06

He Compared Me To My Father’s Mistress’s Daughter Chapter 06

Cameron reached down, grabbed Damian by the collar, and hauled him off the ground

Damian stumbled backward and slammed into the wall

I handed my sister to you. And this is how you took care

of her?”

He drove his fist into Damian’s face

You pushed her off a building! Are you even human? How

much did you put her through that she’d rather die than stay

alive?”

Damian’s head snapped to the side. His lip split. Blood

seeped from the corner of his mouth

But he didn’t fight back. He just let Cameron unload on

him

it!”

Blow after blow. No mercy

A shriek cut through the hall. What are you doing? Stop

Cameron’s voice came out icecold. Get lost.”

Sienna’s eyes went red

A nurse stuck her head out of the OR and hissed, We’re

trying to save a patient in here. If you want to fight, do it

somewhere else!”

Both men went silent

Cameron sagged against the wall and shut his eyes. Tears

streaked down his face

Sienna stood there, wringing the hem of her shirt in her fists. Damianyou’re bleeding.”

Revulsion twisted across his face. He jerked his head away from her hand. Get out. Both of you, get the hell away from me!”

Sienna bit her lip, looking wounded

She turned to Cameron, her voice thick with indignation. Cam, what happened? Whatever it is, you had no right to hit him!”

She never finished the sentence

Cameron’s hand clamped around her throat

Her eyes went wide. Instinctively, she clawed at his hand. Her nails carved red lines into his skin. He only squeezed harder

Who the hell do you think you are to talk to me like that?”

Her face went from red to purple. She opened her mouth, gasping for air, but nothing came out except strangled, wet sounds. Tears and snot smeared down her cheeks

His eyes went dark

A bastard nobody even wanted. Your mother had no shame and neither do you.”

You think you matter? You think you get to talk to me like that?”

Her eyes rolled back. Her body went limp

He let go with a cold laugh

Sienna hit the floor, gasping for air, a wreck of smeared

makeup and tangled hair

Damian didn’t even glance at her

She sat there, shaking, sobbing, her nails digging into her palms. Pure venom pooled in her eyes

She thought about her mother

Her mother thought the same thing, bear a man’s child, and you win everything. She was Derek’s mistress for over a decade. No title. No respect. People talked behind her back for years. She clawed and fought to give birth to that baby, thinking she’d finally won

Then Derek wrote his will. Everything to Aria and

Cameron

From that day on, Sienna swore she’d be stronger than her mother ever was. What her mother couldn’t steal, she would. What her mother couldn’t win, she’d take

So she went after Damian Vance

Damian was Aria’s lifeline. Without him, Aria was nothing

At first, Damian ignored her. That was fine. She had time. She didn’t believe in a man who wouldn’t cheat

She’d gotten pregnant before Aria ever could. So why was she still losing

The fury in her eyes burned hotter

That was when Damian spotted a familiar face, a doctor. He remembered now. The one Aria had begged him to send

The one he’d randomly waved off to help her mother

Damian blocked his path. Doctor. That woman I sent you to treat earlier, how is she?”

The doctor startled, brow furrowing as he tried to place the question. Then he sighed, deep and tired

I’m sorry. She got help too late. By the time I got there

she was already gone. You have my condolences.
