He Cheated, So I Drank the Love Potion Myself Chapter 27

“So I decided to take my eyes off of one person and put them back on the world.”

At that moment, a comment flashed across the livestream chat.

“She acts so independent now, but wasn’t she the one having a meltdown over a man? Take it with a grain of salt.”

The host’s expression turned a little awkward.

When I saw the comment, I smiled.

“That’s actually a pretty interesting point.”

I looked directly into the camera, my expression open.

“Honestly, I think those undignified moments from my past, as embarrassing as they were, are part of what shaped the person I am today.”

The host couldn’t help but ask:

“When people judge your past pain like that, does it really not make you angry?”

“No.”

I shook my head.

“Because I did all those things.”

“The person who threw away all her passion and dignity for someone unworthy—that was me, too.”

“I don’t plan to deny she existed, and I don’t plan to pretend she never did.”

“Even if someone laughed at me for those things to my face, I wouldn’t be angry.”

I paused, making my next words very clear.

“Because I accept every step I’ve taken to get here.”

“The good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly. All of it is me.”

“Without those parts of my story, the me sitting here right now wouldn’t exist.”

Just then, another comment flew across the screen.

“Miss, what you just said was amazing. I love you. You’re the kind of person my teenage self always wanted to be.”

I looked at the words and smiled.

“Thank you.”

“I love myself very much, too.”

“But the only person you can truly rely on, forever, is yourself.”

The studio went quiet for two seconds.

Then, sincere applause broke out.
