He Cheated, So I Drank the Love Potion Myself Chapter 10

After we returned to the cabin, my frozen body finally began to thaw.

At that moment, the phone that had barely had a signal all night started vibrating nonstop.

I shrugged off my coat, crawled under the covers, and opened my messages.

Reed rarely sent so many at once.

“Ophelia, why aren’t you home?”

“Why is there a table of cold food here? What are you playing at?”

“Not answering? You want a divorce that badly?”

A few minutes later, he sent more.

“Still not answering? You think this silent treatment is going to get my attention? How childish.”

“If you don’t want to cook, fine. Someone else is more than willing.”

“See? Better than anything you make.”

Below that was a photo.

I tapped on it.

In the picture, Reed was grinning smugly at the camera.

Behind him, a woman in an apron was busy at the kitchen counter.

I didn’t need to see her face to know it was his assistant.

I stared at the photo, and only one thought surfaced in my mind.

When did Reed become so nauseating?

His expression made my stomach turn.

Thinking of that, I actually felt a little insulted on my own behalf.

In my heart, I said:

“Sorry, Ophelia.”

“For all these years, I didn’t let you date some hot guy with a great body. Instead, you ended up with… this.”
