The timestamp in the corner read last night.

The location was the five-star hotel owned by Dorian’s family.

In the video, Dorian and Chloe stumbled out of the elevator, pressed tightly together.

Halfway down the hall, Chloe stood on her toes and kissed him.

Dorian didn’t push her away. Instead, he pinned her against the wall and deepened the kiss.

Then the two of them swiped a key card and disappeared into the presidential suite—our honeymoon suite.

When the video ended, the ballroom was dead silent.

Even Mrs. Lombardi was stunned, one hand pressed to her chest, her lips trembling.

A small, cruel smile touched Evander’s lips.

“Mr. Lombardi, if that’s your definition of friendship, it differs quite a bit from the norm.”

“We were just playing video games all night! Mr. Hawthorne, you can’t slander us like this!”

Chloe’s voice was a shrill scream.

She waved frantically at the screen.

“That video is fake! It’s been edited!”

“Dorian drank too much last night. I was just helping him get to his room!”

She whirled around and grabbed Dorian’s arm, her nails digging into his suit.

“Dorian, say something! We didn’t do anything, right?”

Dorian’s face was ashen.

A film of cold sweat covered his forehead.

He opened his mouth, but no sound came out.

The video was too clear.

You could even see the look on his face as he’d closed his eyes and leaned into the kiss.
