Betrayed and Sabotaged Before Vows Chapter 07 The Led Wall Blows Up Their Taboo Affair

The moment Ethan’s face was exposed, a deafening roar of shock and outrage erupted across every guest filling the grand ballroom.

They spent every single day carefully covering up their depraved secret, yet they dragged me into ther mess just to use me as a scapegoat-now every high-society guest gets to witness all their filth plain as day.

The second Lila saw Ethan’s uncovered face, her knees buckled completely. All strength leff her body, d she crumpled onto the polished marble floor in a limp heap.

Ethan’s features twisted with unrestrained, burning fury as he locked his eyes hard on me.

“Are you finally satisfied? You’ve cornered us with no way out-does this petty vengeful spectacle bring you any joy?”

I tilted my head and shot him a cold, mocking smirk.

“This is nothing but the very beginning of what you two deserve. If you’re already falling apart over this small reveal, you won’t stand a chance against what I’m about to show everyone.”

I clapped my hands sharply twice. Instantly, the oversized commercial LED wall fixed to the back wall flickered to blazing brightness.

Projected across the massive screen was the positive pregnancy test Ethan had sent to torment me, paired with every set of vulgar explicit intimate photos he’d forwarded to my cell.

Even the scandalous snapshots he’d sent mere minutes earlier were blown up huge, visible to every person seated in the venue.

Every arrogant, taunting text he’d bombarded me with now boomeranged right back to cut deep into him and Lila’s reputations. Weren’t they obsessed with keeping their forbidden adoptive sibling affair hidden from public scrutiny?

They even pulled an innocent outsider like me into their chaotic mess solely to use me as a disposable human shield to hide their shame.

If I was only ever meant to be their cover, there was nothing unfair about dragging their entire sordid entanglement out into unfiltered public view for all the elite crowd to judge.

Ever since I ripped the fabric veil off Ethan’s head, each subsequent revelation grew more explosive and scandalous than the one before it.

None of these upper-class socialites had ever stumbled upon such lurid, rotten skeletons locked inside a prominent wealthy household.

Every guest’s eyes stretched wide, frozen in stunned shock as they stared up at the incriminating footage playing on the wall.

“I never imagined Ms. Hale could hide such a repulsive, immoral secret behind her polished public image!”

“Even the most dysfunctional broken families would never tolerate this twisted entanglement with an

dopted brother”

“It’s utterly shameless-they schemed to drag her legal husband into their own sordid mess just to save their own reputations!”

“No wonder Kael is seething with rage. I would lose my mind ten times over if I endured this humiliation!”

“The pair has zero sense of decency whatsoever-their conduct is utterly revolting.”

The overlapping murmurs of condemnation sweeping through the crowd landed as the final breaking point for both Lila and Ethan. Lila teetered on the brink of a total mental breakdown. She scrambled forward in blind panic and threw herself straight at the giant LED wall.

“Shut this display off at once! Turn it off right now!”

She thrashed wildly, grabbing every loose chair stem, crystal wine glass, and decorative centerpiece within arm’s reach and hurling them full force against the screen surface.

Unfortunately for her, the venue’s heavy-duty commercial display had reinforced scratch-proof panels. No matter how violently she lashed out at it, not a single mark or crack appeared on its surface.

After draining every last bit of her frantic energy, her limbs went limp. She collapsed onto the cold tile floor, clamping both palms tight over her ears to block out the crowd’s harsh whispers and jeers.

As for Ethan, his irises burned red with unbridled venomous hatred as he stared daggers into my figure.

“Kael Mercer, you’re despicable and deserve complete ruin! I should’ve gotten rid of you permanently ages ago!”

I met his murderous glare with a calm, faint cold smile.

“You only have yourself to blame for all this ruin. If you’d never sent me all these damning pieces of evidence to taunt me, I would hold zero proof of your affair to share today.”

“If you’re desperate to assign blame, look inward at your own arrogant urge to flaunt your secret. All I’ve done is broadcast your own boasts and dirt for every attendee here to witness.”

I bared my teeth in a taunting sneer directly at him once I finished speaking. His face contorted with unbridled loathing, and without warning he launched a blind violent lunge straight toward me.

“If you’re set on destroying my sister and me, I’ll drag you down to ruin alongside us!”

I raised one leg and delivered a solid, forceful front kick that sent him stumbling backward across the glossy marble floor.

“You think you’re capable of laying a single finger on me?”

Back inside Hale Enterprises’ office floors, he never dared attack me one-on-one. He only acted bold when his hired enforcers surrounded and backed him up.

Right as the violent tension reached its peak, Mr. Hale, Lila’s father, burst through the ballroom’s main

trance and rushed onto the ceremony floor.
