Sam’s tone dripped with sarcasm.

Harvey’s hand holding the phone froze.

“That’s impossible! I was only detained for a month. How am I not the Alpha of the Dark Stone Pack anymore? How could the pack collapse so fast? You must be lying to me.”

Harvey roared madly.

“Lying? If you don’t believe me, go check the pack yourself. Now the Alpha is your good friend Stefan, and Lynette has already transferred your Alpha position to him with the official agreement. He’s merged your pack with his.”

“You’d better wake up. You’re nothing but a watchdog that everyone can kick now.”

Sam hung up immediately.

Harvey sprinted madly toward the pack’s new territory, only to find the Dark Stone Pack banner at the border had been replaced with Stefan’s Bloodmoon Pack flag.

“Isn’t this our high-and-mighty Alpha Harvey? Why are you acting like a watchdog now?”

A familiar voice rang out. Harvey turned around to see Stefan with his arm around Tasha, leaning against a Ferrari.

“Tasha?”

Harvey stared at her in disbelief.

Tasha wrapped her arms around Stefan’s waist, coquettishly pressing against his chest.

“Tasha Fuller! How dare you?! You’re my adopted sister!”

“Don’t call me that. I’ve been reunited with my biological parents. My name is Tasha Pope now.”

Harvey trembled with rage as he watched their intimate display.

“How could you do this to me? Tasha, I lost everything for you. Even Lynette abandoned me. How could you betray me like this?”

Tasha looked at him with utter contempt.

“When I left the pack, it was practically doomed. That’s why I begged Lynette to let me go. Who knew after I left, your pack would survive another crisis? But this time, you won’t be so lucky.”

Harvey’s eyes burned crimson as he glared at Tasha.

“So you left the pack voluntarily? Lynette didn’t force you?”

Harvey lunged crazily forward, but Stefan kicked him violently.

“You piece of trash dare to touch my mate!”

Stefan stomped hard on Harvey’s hand, then delivered a brutal kick to his face.

Two front teeth flew out of Harvey’s mouth, blood gushing from his lips.

Stefan had been holding a grudge since Harvey beat him up before. After years of being trampled by Harvey, he finally got his chance to retaliate.

“You dare hit me?”

Harvey clutched his bleeding mouth, rage boiling but powerless to fight back.

Stefan stomped on Harvey’s hand again, grinding his heel mercilessly.

“I hit you whenever I want. Do I need reason?”

“Do you still think you’re some high-and-mighty Alpha? Lynette already handed your pack to me. I’m the true Alpha now, and even your precious adopted sister belongs to me.”

Stefan spat a loogie onto Harvey’s head, his eyes blazing with contempt.

“I’ll make you pay!”

Harvey clenched his fists, glaring at them with pure hatred.

Tasha squatted down before him; her face twisted in disgust.

“Save your energy, Harvey. You’re just a watchdog now, everyone gets to kick you when you’re down. What makes you think you can fight us?”

Blood continued to pour from Harvey’s mouth as he stared fixedly at Tasha.

“I’ll make you pay.”

Tasha chuckled, patting his face condescendingly.

“You’re nothing but a stray dog. What can you possibly do? Save your energy.”

With that, Tasha wrapped her arm around Stefan’s waist and kissed him passionately.

“Let’s go. We have more important event to attend to.”

Stefan laughed heartily, grabbing Tasha’s waist and pinching her buttocks playfully.

“You’re such a tease. No wonder Harvey was so obsessed with you.”
