Alpha Family Put Their Princess on Trial Chapter 10

Alpha Family Put Their Princess on Trial Chapter 10

“Father, Mother, Callum, why are you standing outside?”

Amidst the sobbing, a jarring voice suddenly cut through.

They looked up and saw Natalia — the daughter, the sister they had once loved more than anything — walking back toward them like nothing had happened.

She tilted her head, faking confused. “Why are you crying out here? And why didn’t you pay my hospital bill? They said my card was empty. They wouldn’t let me have my IV anymore.”

“Father, Mother, Callum,” she said, “are you playing favorites with Giselle? You don’t want to spend money on me anymore?”

“I shouldn’t have come back,” she said, tears streaming down her face. “But I missed you so much. I missed all of you.”

She cried and cried, putting on a show.

But after a long time, she realized no one was comforting her.

She looked up, confused, and then pretended to sob even harder. “I knew it. You don’t love me anymore. Fine. I’m leaving.”

With that, she turned to go.

But before she could take a step, a young man blocked her path.

“Who said you could leave?”

Natalia’s face lit up. She puckered her lips playfully. “Callum, I knew you couldn’t let me go.”

But the answer she got wasn’t a hug. It wasn’t forgiveness. It was a slap — hard, brutal, unforgiving — across her lying face.

“Callum? What Callum?”

“Who said you could call me that?”

The slap landed with full force. Natalia’s lip split open instantly.

She stared at him in shock, tears pouring down her face. “Callum, why did you hit me? Are you mad because I interrupted you? Fine, I’ll leave.”

“Don’t even think about it.”

This time, it was Evelyn who spoke.

Natalia’s face lit up with hope. She turned to Evelyn and burst into tears.

“Mother, look — Callum hit me.”

But Evelyn didn’t comfort her like she used to.

Instead, she grabbed Natalia by the hair and slapped her — again and again and again.

One slap after another.

“Mother, what’s wrong with you? Why are you hitting me?”

“It’s me — Natalia. Your Natalia. The one you love.”

“That’s exactly who I’m hitting, you bitch. How dare you bully my Giselle?”

“How dare you frame her over and over? How dare you hurt her?”

“I’ll beat you to death. Do you hear me? I’ll beat you to death.”

Natalia tried to run, covering her head, but she barely made it a few steps before Tristan blocked her path.

He kicked her hard in the stomach — just like he used to kick me. Over and over.

“How dare you do that to my daughter,” he growled. “You deserve to die. Die!”

The kick made Natalia cough up blood.

She looked at him in terror. “No, Father, that’s not true. I didn’t do anything.”

“Did Giselle say something to you? Call her out here. Let me confront her face to face. I tried to kill myself because of her. Why won’t you believe me?”

“Kill yourself?” Tristan let out a cruel laugh.

“I forgot. You want to die. So today — I’ll really kill you.”

He kicked her again and again. Callum and Evelyn joined in.

By the time they stopped, Natalia had vomited blood and passed out.

They didn’t kill her.

Because they didn’t want her to die that easily.

They rented a basement — The Underhold — and locked Natalia in a Whelping Cage in the bathroom. Whenever they felt angry, they took it out on her.

The memory ended there.

The Logicore told me that the rogue who had hurt me had been caught too.

Soon, he would face his own punishment for his crimes.

And I — I would finally leave the shadows of my past behind and live my own life.

I used the money in my account to travel to many places. In the end, I settled by the ocean — at Stormbreak Cove.

Much later, I went back to my old city.

I saw my Alpha father and Luna mother again.

They had lost everything — their pack, their wealth, their status, their power.

Callum couldn’t bear the guilt anymore. He had chosen to die together with Natalia.

Now only Tristan and Evelyn were left.

They were only in their forties, but they looked like candles flickering in the wind — old, broken, fading.

They stood by the roadside, picking through trash, holding up a photo of me to everyone who passed.

“Have you seen this person?” they asked. “She’s our daughter. She ran away.”

“We want to find her. We want to tell her we’re sorry.”

But every answer was the same. No.

I watched them from a distance. And then I walked away.

Sorry?

I didn’t need their apology anymore.

Tristan. Evelyn.

From now on, I would live my own life. Free.

And I would never see them again.
