A CEO With An Impossible Libido Chapter 11

A CEO With An Impossible Libido Chapter 11

Julian took me back to the beachfront villa.

The villa sat in the best spot on the bay.

It had an incredible ocean view.

Suddenly, I remembered the two pages of assets he had listed for me in his divorce papers.

This beachfront villa had been one of them.

There was only one housekeeper in the villa, responsible for cleaning and cooking.

Julian had not kept another woman there.

On the bathroom vanity in the primary suite, I saw a tube of my lipstick.

I picked it up and touched up my makeup in the mirror. Casually, I asked, “Why is my lipstick here?”

Julian hugged me from behind, resting his chin on the top of my head.

Through the mirror, I saw the tips of his ears turn faintly red.

His voice was low and hoarse.

“When I miss you, I put your lipstick on my neck and imagine you kissing me…”

My cheeks burned.

“So that night when I called you, you were…”

“Yeah.”

Julian turned me toward him and looked into my eyes, laying his desire bare.

“Sorry. I also hid some of your slip dresses and lingerie here…”

The comments screamed.

[Ahhh, the male lead is this unhinged?]

[I can picture it. Last time, Julian stood in front of the mirror and put Vivian’s lipstick on his own neck. Then, under the shower, he touched his neck with one hand and imagined Vivian kissing him.]

[If I remember correctly, Vivian happened to call him right then.]

[No wonder his voice was that hoarse.]

[His own wife is right in front of him, but he can’t have her. Who wouldn’t lose their mind?]

[And he secretly kept Vivian’s slip dresses and lingerie.]

[Did Julian seriously not make himself sick from holding back?]

Looking at Julian, so worked up yet trying so hard to restrain himself, I couldn’t help swallowing.

I leaned closer and kissed his lips.

That kiss was like a wildfire, igniting Julian completely.

The corners of his eyes flushed red as he pulled me hard into his arms and deepened the kiss.

From that afternoon until the next morning, Julian and I didn’t leave the bedroom.

For the first time, I learned that when your soul felt full, your stomach could forget to be hungry.

Every window in the primary suite offered an unbeatable ocean view.

Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, I could see the sea dyed orange-red by the sunset.

From the desk in the study, I could turn my head and see boats returning from the sea.

From the two-person tub in the bathroom, I could see the palm trees swaying outside.

I even began to imagine what games Julian had prepared in the private suite attached to his executive office.

Someday… I wanted to try them with him.

Julian thought the Succubus Vine’s effect still hadn’t worn off.

He thought that was why I had become so passionate toward him.

In reality, I had only been pricked by the Succubus Vine once.

The lingering effect was minimal.

Most of my reaction to him came from my real feelings.

The next day, during breakfast, Nathan called.

“Vivian, are you coming to the lab today? We can repeat the experiment with the remaining plants and try to develop the Succubus Vine antidote sooner.”

Julian lifted his eyes to look at me, then quickly looked away.

I knew he was compromising. He wanted me to decide for myself.

I said to Nathan, “It’s the weekend. I’m spending time with my husband, so I won’t be coming.”

Nathan answered on the other end, “Oh, okay. Then I’ll work overtime by myself.”

When Julian heard the words “my husband,” he couldn’t stop smiling.

After hanging up, I simply turned off my phone.

Julian took me out to sea, and we spent the night on his private yacht.

At midnight, strong winds swept waves across the water, and we rose and fell all night.

The sound of the waves was the best lullaby.

I wrapped my arms around his neck of my own accord and called him “husband” in a voice thick with feeling.

Julian looked as if I had struck the softest part of his heart. He could no longer suppress the fierce love surging inside him.

In the end, I couldn’t take any more and passed out.

It felt as if I had seen a breathtaking aurora, a completely different kind of experience.

When I woke up, Julian looked deeply guilty.

“I’m sorry. I lost control.”

Lazily, I smiled.

“It’s okay. You were… incredible.”

Julian’s gaze burned hot again.

We had breakfast on the private yacht.

The sea breeze lifted my long hair, and my skin was covered in kiss marks.

We enjoyed that peaceful, easy time.

So this was how comfortable it could be to set work aside on the weekend and spend time with family.

Before, I had wound myself up like a spinning top, running nonstop for my research career.

I had missed so much warmth and beauty in life.

From now on, while focusing on my career…

I needed to care for my family, my own feelings, and Julian’s feelings too.

Partners were supposed to meet each other halfway.

There was no harm in slowing my climb.

Even if I took a detour, I could still reach the summit.
