The Hypnotized Stand-In Has Awakened—the True Heiress Is Terrified Chapter 13

The Hypnotized Stand-In Has Awakened—the True Heiress Is Terrified Chapter 13

But Blair had no idea.

On the very first day after she was released, she went live

online, planning to retaliate against me and Adrian.

The very day she got out, she started a livestream, ready to drag me and Adrian through the mud.

“Hello everyone, I’m Blair.”

“A lot has happened recently. I never explained anything

because I’m too kind.”

“I didn’t want to make things worse.”

She paused, her voice breaking on cue. Tears came instantly.

“Elise was my best friend. But she was jealous of me.”

“Jealous that Mr. Whitmore liked me. Jealous that I was more

popular than her.”

“So she set me up.”

“She stole my account, stole my online boyfriend, and even

worked with the Whitmore family to slander me.”

At first, there were still a few comments from people who

didn’t know the truth.

[Is this real?]

[Rich people drama runs deep…]

Seeing that, Blair cried even harder.

“You guys have no idea what an actress Elise really is.”

“She pretends to be pure at school, but behind the scenes, she’s seduced who knows how many men.”

“That face of hers is her biggest weapon.”

“She has been using her looks to trick men since she was

young. I was just too naive, that’s why I ended up like this.”

The moment she finished speaking, the comments exploded.

[Are you insane? So many people were there that day. Do you think we’re blind?]

[Crestwood student here. I saw her hypnotize Elise Harrington

with my own eyes.]

[You’re the one who slipped up and said too much, and now you’re trying to spin this?]

[Who scammed over four million? Who committed identity

theft?]

[Elise scams guys with her looks? That’s rich. You wish you could—but do you even have a face to work with?]

[Hey Blair, ever tried looking in a mirror? Oh wait–you literally can’t anymore.]

Blair snapped, screaming insults at the screen.

The next second, the livestream went black. The account was

banned.

That night, she posted more than a dozen updates.

One post called me a two–faced snake. One said Adrian was

blind.

Then it was how the whole world owed her.

The last one, though—that was the most unhinged of all.

[Elise, you think you’ve won? You stole my life. But I’m taking it back–sooner or later.]

I stared at that line, my fingertips turning slightly cold, just about to open the comments.

A hand reached over and took the phone from me.

“Don’t read it. Trash like that isn’t worth your time.”

“She won’t be causing trouble for long.”

Adrian’s voice was calm, but absolute.

He leaned down, placing both hands on the armrests of my

chair, enclosing me within his presence.

His eyes held mine, dark and unwavering.

“Sorry. I should’ve dealt with it more thoroughly. She

shouldn’t have gotten the chance to come back and disgust

you like this.”

He straightened, picked up his phone, and quickly made a call.

“Nate, reach out to all major platforms.”

“Shut down every account under Blair’s name or anything

linked to her.”

“Take down any false or harmful content she posted.”

“I don’t want to see her name anywhere again, let alone anything linking her to me or Elise.”

He paused, his gaze turning even colder. “One more thing…

tell Jason this.”

“If he still doesn’t make his move, I don’t mind putting Blair

right back where she was.”
