Alpha, You Lost Your Luna Chapter 07

And yet my mouth was covered, and I was shoved into hell.

Griffin had been injured too that day and was barely conscious, so he had no way of telling who was who.

That was how Daphne ended up receiving so much undeserved favor.

And I got nothing.

Griffin ordered the case reopened. That very night, Landon filed it formally and dragged the entire past back out for reinvestigation.

The attempted attack on the Alpha heir from ten years ago had been wrong from beginning to end.

Daphne’s father had been honored by Winterveil Pack as Griffin’s savior for a full decade. His name had been

placed in Winterveil’s Hall of Remembrance, and people paid tribute to him year after year.

But the truth was that he had been the mastermind all along.

He had taken money from a rival Pack, bribed people inside Winterveil, and planned to strike at Griffin so

someone else could be pushed into power.

Everything matched my letter exactly.

This false “savior” had led everyone astray for more than ten years.

When the men who had gone to prison back then finally confessed it in person, Griffin broke down on the

spot. His voice was so hoarse it hardly sounded like his own.

“She saved me. She was the one who kept me alive.”

“And I… I’m the one who pushed her into a fate worse than death.”

Landon’s hair turned white overnight. He went into the prison himself, dragged out every person who had

been involved back then, and broke their bones one by one.

He roared like a madman, “She’s my sister-my own sister, the little girl I held in my arms from the time

she was small.”

“What did you think she was?! What did you think she was?!”

Nora was terrified out of her mind too. She fainted several times, and every time she woke up, she trembled and repeated the same sentence.

“It was wrong… all of it was wrong…”

The Healer treating her was the same one who had set my bones.

His hands shook as he took her pulse, and in the end, he choked out one sentence.

“Princess… the sedatives had already stopped working on her that day.”

He said he refused to accept defeat.

After that, he showed up at every literary or art salon I attended.
