My Meek Desk Mate Is the Secret School Tyrant Chapter 04

After I bullied the pushover, the looks I got shifted. No more pity. Now it was respect. Maybe fear.

To cement my terrifying reputation, I kept picking on Orion.

His breakfast? I took half. The next day, he brought double.

He slept in class. I dragged him awake and forced him to listen. The next day, he wore earplugs. I threw those away too.

Every time I walked in or out, I’d kick his chair. Hard. Then sneak an apology when no one was looking.

Orion’s temper was unreal. No matter how I pushed him around, he never got angry. No wonder everyone ignored him—total pushover.

But I wasn’t a bad person. For every bit of bullying, I found a way to make it up.

Orion never brought textbooks. Never had a pen. Maybe whoever bullied him before me had thrown them away.

So I copied my notes and textbooks for him. I bought him cute bear pens. When I found good snacks, I’d slip him a share. Pretty notebooks? He got one too.

Slowly, Orion’s desk filled up. Even his sad, deflated black backpack got a makeover. I clipped a Sad Bear plushie onto it.
